    Wayne Gretzky just resigned in Phoenix.

    I approve of Slap-Shot-based threadjacks, but you knew that already.

    Ulf Samuelsson as interim coach? It's hard for me to separate his playing from anything else, but the Coyotes might be the most-penalized team in the league if he stays on.

    For you Brampton fans, Cody Hodgson is really struggling at Canucks training camp. Looks very slow, you may get to see him for another year.

    yes he is, which puts him well behind the other players. I think they will keep him to start but he does not look ready to play in the NHL at this point. I have no doubt this kid will be a very good pro but it just might have to wait a year.
