How many teams use these virtual ads on the glass behind each goalie?

And what do you think of them? Good, bad, same as the regular ads on the boards?

    Holy shit.

As long as they're just virtual ads, seen only on TV, I guess they're okay, but still.....

How long before the ice surface looks even more like it already does in Europe?

I'm not sure it ever gets to that point. We've already seen MLB teams use virtual ads on the backstop wall, visible in the traditional pitcher-batter camera shot. This is simply an extension of that.

And is there any more remarkable story than the Phoenix Coyotes in sport right now? What they've done this season is astounding.

for everything he's gone through i hope like hell he can play even average through the playoffs, that might be all the Caps need.

With the way things have gone over the last year for him, and the way he's handled himself through it, he's pretty hard to cheer against right now.

David Booth got his bell rung again tonight, this time by Jaroslav (Sissy) Spacek.

Looks like he might have been out cold before he even hit the ice.

    (It's in French, FYI)

Thing is, this was a clean hit even as far as the new rule is concerned. Booth had his head down as he was coming over the blue line, and Spacek drilled him with the shoulder.

I think the new rule is a good thing. however, at some point players are going to have to learn not to skate with their heads down when crossing the blue line like that. Nothing wrong with that hit. I don't think he targeted the head, Spacek just stood him up, hit him square and just happened to get his head. He didn't flip an elbow or jump into him and he didn't come from a blind side. If he doesn't finish his check he likely gets torched on the bench or during a film session. It's unfortunate Booth got hurt again, but it is a contact game.

Too bad about Booth and now there'll be some no-nothings who try and compare Spacek's check to the gutless Mike Richards hit.

And the Fames playoff chances just took a major kick to the nuts today with a 5-0 ass kicking by the Boston Bruins.

Is it alright if I dance a little jig?
