Has Quinn bit any reporters' heads off yet?

Not sure about that, he's been mostly good humoured so far, however, in the story I laid out last night he basically was saying someone should have cracked Iginla over the head with their stick for his hit on Iginla (I personally think it was more or less an unfortunate play, as they both went into the boards hard, a giant clusterfuck. At the very least Iginla answered the bell when Moreau came after him), that he didn't understand the players of today and is disappointed with the league's crack down on vigilanty justice on the ice. I think he's gone off his meds. At least we'll have some fun quotes this year.

Honestly, it looks like Souray lost an edge. Iginla just happened to be too close behind him.

The Iginla-Moreau fight is on the same clip. :D

    That's exactly what happened.

And Moreau should be glad Iginla held off and didn't destroy him when he lost his footing.

I agree, there was nothing intentional about the hit, he got a tripping penalty which is what was deserved -- Iginla's stick is what caused Souray to lose his edge. And he showed his class again by not destroying Moreau when he could have.

Quinn has now been fined for the league for his comments following last night's game, $10,000 I believe

The guy has snapped a noodle. That may happen frequently this season.

Gotta love Quinn. Ripping his captain a new one in public.

He ripped Morreau? I haven't listened but I thought he ripped Iginla.

Iginla was penalized on the play and when he returned, Oilers captain Ethan Moreau fought Iginla, but Quinn wasn't impressed with that response.

"That’s not addressing it," he said. "You don’t give him honour. Why would you give a man honour for that type of play? (Moreau) honoured (Iginla) with a fist fight."
