That was outstanding, and Guerin's skyward reaction was priceless.

So tell me Burkie Mr. mastermind, who brought in the vast majority of these players, who earlier you were lauding as the heart and soul type?

    Just curious.

I love Ron Wilson hope he succeeds no matter where he is. He can coach for me any time. Brian Burke though? Loser.

Cappies have lost four straight. Not only does the defense suck, but they keep taking dumbass penalties that they don't need to in the third period. Yeah, that means you Semin. Tonight they play San Jose. It may not be long before Bruce Boudreau's head explodes out of aggravation and frustration with the egos these guys are getting.

Cam Ward had some wild ass saves last night. Those final few minutes and then the overtime were fun to watch.

    The Penguins are all cocksuckers.

Ron Wilson's "Smartest Guy in the Room" act doesn't hold up very well when your team is 0-6 to start the season---not to mention the overwhelmingly underachieving Sharks teams he coached to early playoff exits.

It's also probably not a good idea to come into the largest hockey market in the known universe and act like everybody who holds a notepad or microphone is a moron. For furthur reference, see Ricciardi, J.P.

And Brian Burke has at least won a Cup.

But ... but ... but he's such a treat to deal with!

But he's entertaining as hell. Sure beats his predecessor, Sam The Eagle.

Yeah, arrogance doesn't work when you're 0-6. Still, the Toronto media can be a pain in the ass. They're always right, and they always knew all along that this was how it was going to go -- regardless of how it goes.
When the Leafs win three in a row -- hey, it could happen! -- they'll be planning the parade.

I hope Phil is ready for the media onslaught. His first game will be slightly more important than the Second Coming.

From what I've read he has a history of attitude problems going back to the WJC and the draft Does not play well with others.

'82 team won 20 games, I would be shocked if this team is that bad.

From what I've seen the Leafs team couldn't win 20 games against AHL opposition.

Maybe they should play the Marlies in a best of three series.

If Wilson's boys lose the series, he and the entire team are relegated to the Ricoh.
