My guess would be that A) it brings that historical ambiance for the TV, and B) they wouldn't be competeing with minor/senior hockey for ice time. They would have full control to do whatever they want.

Still, I agree, the show is a terrible idea.

I think that question is tantamount to 'will the sun rise tomorrow' or 'is the sky blue.'

Indeed. Same as it is with the lovely Ms. Bourne, whom I was very privileged to interview on the night of her last-ever appearance with long-time on-ice partner Victor Kraatz.

She was very emotional about the end of their partnership, as I expected she would be, yet she was eminently gracious.

Shae is a darling! She's so sweet!

Do you suppose we should just let the boys decide for themselves about our figure skating beauties?

And the very famous GQ shot of Jamie ...

Should we have a separate "Battle of the Blades" thread? :)

Mike Rogers: "Theo Fleury is so high". Unfortunate.

Sadly probably more accurate than he realizes.

I'll never forget seeing him bent over the steering wheel of his SUV, doing a line, in the parking lot across from the old Cowboys.

So, Mr. Sloppy Seconds commits a premeditated assault upon Kyle Okposo (at the point of impact he was at leat 2" off the ice), does NHL have the balls to suspend him?
