Like it wasn't bad enough for Petty to own/manage/whatever a car sponsored by Budweiser, now this.

NASCAR overreacts, part MMCLVIII: Allmendinger was subjected to a breathalyzer test before Cup practice today.

Was the breathalyzer sponsored? Did MRN do a live call of the results?

    Yeah, that's pretty insulting.

Holy crap. Hope Newman's OK. Anyone have any updates?

That was a nasty crash - I'm almost as amazed that Harvick's windshield didn't crack after Newman's car landed on it as I was that Newman walked away.

As much as I love watching dangerous racing (and I do), McMurray winning again at a plate race is as horrid as Waltrip having won plate races.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Only thing that makes Talladega different from the other tracks now, is that it creates real debris cautions.

  8. Talladega fucking sucks!!!

    That is all.

It really is like the lottery. Figure a lot of the mid to bottom tier guys get a bone thrown their way a couple of times a year.

The winner at Talladega is usually the guy who happens to lead the last lap.

Did the point standings change? Because nothing else really matters, does it?

When NASCAR has their best drivers hanging back to avoid a big wreck for most of the race - there is something wrong.

It's getting kind of hard to stomach the idea that restrictor plates improve safety at this point given some of the wrecks they've had.
