Unless they swap him for a goalie who needs a change of scenery.

He won't be going anywhere now that the Goalie Killer is gone.

Yeah, I can imagine Kiprusoff doing the same happy dance as AMac when word came down.

Besides, what would become of Little Kipper?

I think his family would either have to move to Kiprusoff's next destination or send the child into serious therapy.

I didn't think that Keenan played mind games with Kipper. Hell with McElwhatshisname as backup he didn't excatly have someone to use to fuck with Kipper

Jacques Martin will reportedly give up his GM role with the Panthers to become the new coach of the Canadiens.

Well, the Habs won't make the playoffs next year.

    Jacques Martin?

The same Jacques Martin who once coached the underachieving Senators? The same Jacques Martin who turned around the Florida Panthers?

Why? Unless this is one of those "we know we are in a rebuilding stage, so why bother to hire a top-flight coach NOW, we'll do that down the road when we're ready to compete". Like the Dallas Cowboys did with Dave Campos and the San Antonio Spurs did with Bob Weiss years ago, among plenty of others.

The same Jacques Martin who got into the NHL via a Memorial Cup win in 1986 and has done fuck all since then to justify continued employment at the highest level of hockey.
