Hextall had some good years and who knows how good pelle Lindberg would have been.

I wouldn't think so. Without looking didn't they have him near the end of his career?

Hextall was the last true No. 1 goalie they developed in the system. Since then it's been all downhill from there.

The Beezer Boozer had his best days with the Panthers.

Continuing the moves for the Avalanche, they've promoted their AHL affiliate's coach to the top job.

Tippett is a cat that's on his 13th life. He should've been fired on numerous occasions, except for Hicks' disinterest in hockey, Army's loyalty and Army's two-headed successors' desire to try and make it work. Tippett bought some time a year ago with the deep Western Conference run.

I can't see the Stars making a move at this stage. He'll get this coming year, and if they stumble out of the gate, I suspect then he'll get the hook.

Only the Flyers would try to recycle Ray Emery. Ron Hextall was a long, long time ago.

Beezer was something else in Sunrise, but clearly heading downhill during his stint in Philly.

    This is a joke.

The Globe has a story on it. The doofuses haven't even talked to the NHL. I'd doubt they'd even return his call.

Lopez said he would be happy to speak to the NHL about the proposal — but only after the league has had a chance to review the group's plans on its own.

Love the idea of a 30,000 seat rink. Can we say no atmosphere? Might as well play at Sky ... er, the Rogers Centre.
