The crest on the jersey suggests you're right.

The only thing that could make that picture better - Bettman decked out in Huggy Bear-style pimp threads.

It might even be more appropriate wear than the Napoleon costume he lounges around in at home.

I thought the Bruins were going to play at Fenway? Or is this a doubleheader in the works?

According to a blogger Flames haven't offered Bertuzzi a contract. Hurray!

It's just as likely to be plus 5 on NYD in Calgary as -30.
However, the NHLPA is now saying "Uh, you never asked us about a doubleheader".

+5? if you get a strong enough chinook it could be +15. Try skating on the ice then. Hell, and after the mild winter we just had in Alberta, there's n guarantee we'll even have snow on Jan. 1.

I think an outdoor doubleheader dilutes the experience and the uniqueness (?) of the event. What's neat about it is the fact they can move the game to a huge outdoor venue and make it work.
My impression last year was the sightlines in Wrigley Field were shitty -- fans were so far from the ice surface -- but it was neat to see hockey in a historic venue like Wrigley. There would be some curiousity to see how a game would play in Fenway too. McMahon Stadium? You can put an ice surface in the home of the Calgary Stampeders? So what?

Maybe that's the NHL trying to compensate for the fact that there won't be an All-Star Game next year because of the Winter Olympics.

What mild winter section of Alberta were you living in? We had the worst winter - coldest and snowiest - since I've lived here!
