Murray should tell him to go Fuck himself and try to deal him Long Island.

I suspect he has a "no trade" clause.

Oh he does, but if you are going to request a trade do not handcuff your GM.

Yzerman, Hull, Robitaille and Leetch voted into Hockey Hall of Fame.

Pretty good class there. Hard to pick one to stand out above the others.

Excellent class but I'd say Yzerman stands atop this class, and it's not close, in my opinion.

I think comparisons will be drawn with the 2007 class (Messier, MacInnes, Stevens, Francis).

And I concur that as great as this class is, Yzerman will be viewed a little ahead of the others.

Yzerman's good, no doubt, but he also had the better fortune to play on better teams for the majority of his career.

Take a look at Yzermans early years, they were awful teams.

Regardless, Yzerman was a much better all round player than the other 3. Hull and Robitaille couldn't find there own end until the end of their careers.

Remember Lucky Luc went in the 9th round, 171st overall.

Most guys that far down are lucky to play in the ECHL

Honestly I'm not to sure where they stand on going for Heatley. I think they will actually try to make another push for Hossa if he becomes available and shed salary in another trade. If they do make a trade for Heatley though I imagine it would be something along the lines of Gilbert, Eberle and a first, or some sort package along those lines. If they could get them to take Horc and Pisant in the deal it would be done tomorrow, but I don't see it happening. Horc is going nowhere for the first year of his deal -- 5.5 cap hit but earning I think 7 this year.

I'm happy that four deserving Hockey Hall of Famers will be joined by a builder — CEO/President/Coach/Fill in the blank here — Lou Lamoriello. I went to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto in late December and for anyone on this board and this thread in particular who hasn't been to the HHOF, it's a MUST.
