I know. Mark asked, I answered.

Jeez, just because it isn't from today doesn't mean it doesn't answer a question does it?

I really think signing Knuble is a reallllllly good one for the Caps. They needed someone else who can muck it up in the crease. I can see Ovechkin's assist total shooting up next year because of this.

They still need another blueliner though. Maybe two.

I think the point is that Kovalev *didn't* actually re-sign.

The Canadiens, however, did say they are walking away from the rest of their UFAs.

Kovalev did not sign. The Canadiens withdrew the offer and grabbed Cammalleri instead.

Well silly me. I thought that one was over and done.

They could be alright on the back end. If I remember correctly they had a bunch of injuries there last year. Another year for Karl Alzner will make a big difference too.

Scuderi to LA apparently a done deal.

Crap. Big hit for the Pens to lose both Gill and Scuderi.

Does this mean the Kings could make a jump next season? Is Quick going to be good enough for them in net?

Hal Gill the Penguins could lose. But Scuderi ... damn.

Apparently 4 x $3.4M for Scuderi. God bless the guy but that's a HELL of a lot of money for him.
