Those CBC numbers are only slightly better than the average HNIC regular season broadcasto.

As Chris Z (and others) points out, interest in the playoffs strangely goes down the deeper it goes.

Those NBA numbers are just barely about soccer. Wow.

Lacroix still has his hands all over this team

It's not that strange. It's because, as AMac pointed out on Sunday on the playoff thread, few people want to be inside on a sunny spring afternoon watching a hockey game on TV.

I probably shouldn't have said "strange" because you're absolutely right.
If it's 20C and sunny, who wants to watch two teams that you don't really have any serious rooting interest for?

The only reason I stayed in last Sunday afternoon was to watch the Memorial Cup Super Burger Championship Game.

Hahaha.....now, let me think. How can I even up the score this time??

Nyah....maybe if I kidnapped HC and tied her to a railroad track, delaying JR's arrival at Super Burger until AFTER I have eaten and departed....nyah!

My biggest decision at Super Burger will be: fries or onion rings? :)

Let's see. Our next bet could be one of the following:

1)TiCats make the playoffs. Um, on second thought, nah.
    2) Harper calls an election before the end of the year
    3) Sedin twins end up in Toronto

I like this for the OIlers, mainly because they have Renney to take care of the technical side of things.

What exactly is an "associate head coach". Is that like one notch above an "assistant coach"?
