Were you referring to best Rumbles?

For me, it would be 1992, when Flair won it. Terrific performance by him, and just a well-booked match. My favorite part of it is roughly halfway through, Flair is left alone in the ring because everyone was tossed out (and to give Naitch a breather), and then after the countdown, Piper comes out.

I, too, like the 1992 Rumble. Can't ever forget the 1995 Rumble, too. Although 1997 and 1999 have been personal favorites of mine.

I'm a big fan of '97, when Austin kicked a ton of ass and almost ran out of things to do while waiting for the next guy. Then Bret Hart's music hits and his jaw just drops. With as hot as that rivalry was on its way to becoming, that was a fantastic part of a fantastic match.

I just finished watching the whole 97 rumbleon Youtube. Great stuff just for the fact that it included the "Rookie" Rocky Maivia! Great stuff! Bless You Tube!

That Austin part is great. I love it when he keeps throwing guys out, then starts looking at an imaginary watch. The crowd was even cheering him, even though he was still the heel at that time.

That was about the time people realized, "Hey, some of these bad guys are pretty cool!" :D

Pretty interesting storyline WWE has going on with this last incident here.

I'll make a prediction that this is basically WWE's way of bringing in Christian Cage back and then having him feud with Hardy. I'm sure this same "incident" is also related to Hardy being found unconscious the night before Survivor Series.

Several wrestling news websites have already confirmed that Christian Cage will be re-debuting on Smackdown.

How, and in what fashion, they'll bring him back; I have no idea. I assume that with Hardy feuding with Edge, Christian Cage will likely cost Hardy the title at the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania.

I'd think this is a lock and it's Christian. And Edge winning the title because of Christian at the Rumble would indeed make sense in terms of current booking. SmackDown has been going with Vickie vs. HHH and you could just insert Edge and his championship in there for a WrestleMania title program. And then Christian vs. Jeff Hardy could be another planned match that could be quite good.

Or they could go with Edge/Christian vs. The Hardyz, which also leaves SmackDown with HHH vs. Undertaker for the championship, but I doubt they'd go in that direction.

On the Raw side, I think they'll go with Cena vs. Orton and Shawn Michaels vs. JBL at WrestleMania. That could leave Undertaker to feud with a returning Umaga and I'd love to see Jericho and Mysterio get 20 minutes. Then you put guys like Shelton, Punk, Kofi, Morrison, Kendrick, Carlito, and R-Truth in the MITB match and give somebody fresh (Big Show? Kane? Santino?) an ECW title match versus Matt Hardy.

Jim Ross and Hogan on Bubba the Love Sponge today. Hulk says he'd lay down for Austin at WM. Sounds like somebody's hurting for money.

I think he was talking about Hogan. On that topic, I'd be curious to find out how WWE has done since the economic meltdown. It seems ratings are somewhat stable. Areans are still selling out with a problem, and merchandise sales always seem to stay consistent.

They're not doing so great -- but better than newspapers!

WWE is cutting 10 percent of it's staff, says Meltzer. Also, D-Lo Brown, Val Venis and Bam Neely were cut yesterday.
