Wasn't D-Lo just re-signed not too long ago?

He was signed sometime after this past summer. He was used on Raw a few times but mostly just worked house shows. I read that creative just had nothing for him so they gave him the axe.

He could have managed, I guess.

    Petrie,

Can you please explain to me the "Hide your wives, it's Edge!" signature?

I'll answer the question, because hey, why not?

At ECW One Night Stand 2005, Paul Heyman, working one of his last events for the company, opened the pay-per-view with a long promo that pretty much tore every WWE performer a new one. One of the victims of his judgment was Edge, who was recently in the news for having an affair with Lita/Amy Dumas, who at the time was with Matt Hardy. Hardy lost his job; Edge got the girl. The aforementioned line was one of Heyman's finest.

    Here's the link:

That angle was nuts. I never was quite sure, though; during all those times Matt Hardy came in and ambushed Edge, was Hardy under contract with WWE again at that point? With the way Ross and Lawler were talking about it, then suddenly were hush-hush about it, it seemed to me that this was Hardy just trespassing and looking to get himself some.

Had to be a work. I can't imagine that the arena folks would have let him in the building, let along the company devote that much TV time to someone who wasn't supposed to be there because of uncertainty as to what would happen.

Also, the TNA pay-per-view looked to be ho-hum as usual tonight. Sting retained the title by beating Rhyno; the main event was Foley, Styles and D-Von over Steiner, Billy Gunn and Booker T.

Gunn replaced Kevin Nash, who is hospitalized with a staph infection.

THE SINGLE GREATEST ENTRANCE EVER! As I said before:

It was like that at every house show I went to. Just incredible.
