So the Hammerstein Ballroom and ECW Arena have no chance, is what you're saying ...

While drifting around on Wikipedia from site to site after originally loooking up the ECW Arena, I ended up looking up John Zandig, who, apparently, was hung from meat hooks in a CZW show a few years back.

Anyone have any further information on this? It seems hard to believe, in one aspect, but terrifying in another.

So, watched most of the TV version of the HOF. Got me thinking....

If you had to make a top-10 of wrestlers/characters/personalities currently most deserving of being in next year's HOF class, who would be on it?

    My list:
    1. Vincent K. McMahon
    2. Stu Hart
    3. Macho Man Randy Savage
    4. Arn Anderson
    5. Shawn Michaels
    6. Bob Backland
    7. The Undertaker
    8. Mick Foley
    9. The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase
    10. Sunny (Just throwing a woman in there for the heck of it).

Because I don't know when either Michaels or Undertaker will retire, I'm not sure if they are MOST deserving to be on there next year, but one of them probably will be on there in 2010. WWE has made it a habit to have one big guy each year, too. If Michaels AND 'Taker were inducted in the same class, that'd be huge.

I don't see Mick Foley getting in for awhile especially considering he's under contract with TNA right now. I don't know if TNA would prohibit him from attending an event with a rival company. This is saying that TNA is still in business a year from now.

See, that's where I'm confused. Unlike the NFL and MLB, there really doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason with this selection process.

In theory, people should be inducted five years after they retire but there are some notable exceptions (Flair, Guerrero). Maybe there should be a criteria of "Five years after you retire and/or 20 years after your first match"?

Oh, and I highly doubt Taker and Michaels go in together. Both are locks though.

I say Vince K. because above everyone he's the reason the company is where it is right now. I think he's too involved in everything for it to happen anytime soon though I just hope it happens while he's still alive. That'd be a great speech.

    My predictions:
    Jeff over Matt H.

Big Show defeats John Cena and it involves a cheap shot to Cena...probably from Edge. But the Big Show/Vickie line can go on for a while.

Orton wins when the McMahons, in continuing the feud from last week's Raw, somehow DQ Trips.

I hope HBK can pull the win over the Dead Man.

Sheldon Benjamin wins the Money in the Bank match.

I'm going with Trish Stratus in the Diva BR (Provided she's there, if not I'll take Mickie James because I have a huge crush on her).

I'll take Matt over Jeff Hardy in a very Owen Hart-Bret Hart type finish.

Give me JBL over Rey, Miz and Morrison over Carlito/Primo (I think Primo's going solo soon) and Christian in the MITB match.

I'll take Taker over HBK and Edge over Cena and Show. I figure Edge pins Cena clean but gets the crap kicked out of him. At the end of the match, Christian cashes in the briefcase and beats Edge.

The final match of the night is a true MOTY candidate: Trips over Orton in a bloodbath.

Is anyone ordering the PPV or webcast tomorrow? I thought about ordering the webcast, but I really don't have $55 to spend. I might just order it, anyway. I mean its Wrestlemania.

I'm going to a bar that will be showing it. I thought about ordering it but to do so I'd have to get the HD or it wouldn't look right on my TV and that's $65. That's a lot of money for a four-hour show.

I used to go to Hooters in town and grab a bite to eat and watch it there, but they went out of business two years back. I ordered it last year with some friends in my apartment during my last year of college so that was fun, too.

Oh, it would be awesome if you could get like 10 or so people at your place. Unfortunately, I only know about five or six that watch wrestling.

I had and still have several friends who still watch it, but in college I'd usually miss it a lot because I didn't really have a lot of roommates who shared my passion for wrestling as I did.
