    I submitted a feedback. Couldn't hurt.

And I really don't see why they would do it again. This feud was really all about Wrestlemania and the Undertaker's streak. There wasn't a screwjob ending (thank God) or any truly bad blood during the buildup. I don't see a good reason, storywise, to continue it.

This could be totally out of left field here, but Orton looked like he was testing his shoulder after the sledge shot. I wonder if he re-injured it and they had to go home quickly. The PPV had a solid 25 minutes or so of window left ... Just speculation.

The PPV ended very close to 11, like 10:57 if I'm not mistaken and the montage video brought it up past 11. I don't see where you get the 25 minutes.

Yeah, when it ended, I thought it was rather sudden and looked at the clock. It said 10:54.

So many things they could have done with that last match.
    • Turn one of the McMahons heel.
    • Have Vickie (what is she doing making stipulations for a Raw match anyway) come out and award Orton the title by DQ. This could also still happen tonight.
    • Turn it into a bladefest that would've made Ric Flair and Abdullah the Butcher proud.
    • Have a, you know, entertaining match that actually accomplished something in an otherwise great feud.

    What a wasted opportunity.

I'm thinking RB may be on to something, because of the five sites I read, three of them said the plan was for Orton to win and have a lengthy reign.

And there were times you could see the ref receiving instructions of some sort.

First two would have been gimmicky garbage. I'd rather them go with the ending they went with then insert a lame swerve for shits and giggles. But Orton should have won. Even if he had to cheat to win, he is the hottest star in the industry, he's young and insanely gifted, and you don't have him lose to an aging, mediocre face at the biggest show of the year. I just don't get it. Let HHH get his payback at Backlash if need be.

Third one should have happened without a question of a doubt. How did Triple H not bleed like a pig in that match?! I wanted to see a few pints of blood spilled. I think we all expected it. Maybe it's the lame PG rating WWE is going with...

Anyway, I watched the match again and it's painfully similar to HHH's other WrestleMania matches. Like, almost the very exact same match structure. Slam! Wrestling gave it 7/10 and so do I...definitely the worst main event since HHH/Batista four years ago, which are the two worst of this decade.

As a whole I give the PPV a 6/10 because the buildup was so good and yet it fell so flat.

Also, I see now why they decided not to promote the hell out of the Diva BR. Remember when they floated the idea of an all Diva ECW show? Yeah, guess they decided not to bother with that.

Another missed opportunity. The battle royal was awful, don't get me wrong. But you could have rescued the energy that Kid Rock's "performance" sucked away simply by doing some introductions. Sunny, Torrie Wilson, Trish if she was in it all would have gotten some nice crowd pops.
Biggest problem with the battle royal was, it was a battle royal. The camera has to be far away for the viewer to have any idea what's going on. That takes away all of the T&A factor, which is 90 percent of what the divas are good for.

Everything about last night was overrated. The Hardys had more stunts than Michaels and Undertaker, which paled to the Michaels-Cena battle two years ago. All this was for the most part was two men flopping back and forth atop each other while lounging on the mat. Trips vs. Orton? HUGE, HUGE disappointment. Thought this would be bloody and an all hell break loose match.

Funniest match was JBL's blowhard routine backfiring in 20 seconds.

They could have made the DQ angle work. Watching the match last night, I made the comment about how it was setting up. And you could have even had Orton perform a brilliant heel move:
The sledge is introduced by Orton; Trips wrestles it away; the bumped ref starts to revive; Orton sees the ref, sees Trips, and takes a dive. The groggy ref, thinking Orton just got bashed with the sledgehammer, DQs Trips as Orton slithers out of the ring, collects the belt, and smiles his nasty little smile.
If you want it to be more satisfying, Orton could've allowed himself to be hit to draw the DQ.

Gimmicky? Sure. But I think it works, plus it continues a feud that's too good to just disappear. And it brings into play the whole "get DQd and lose the belt" angle they kept hyping up.
Maybe there is something to the injured Orton theory.
