    Fixed.

Acutally, the WWE kept the brands relatively separate for about a year around 2004. It actually built up some intrigue when a Raw guy battled a Smackdown guy and each show built its own following. Now, of course, who cares?

Regarding Raw last night, Steamboat stole the show, Vicki just manages to suck the air out of the place (although her 'Excuse Me!' I always find amusing), Santino(a) put on an entertaining segment, and Batista coming back was a nice surprise.

Thing that annoys me about Legacy is that Rhodes and, to a lesser extent, DiBiase, are basically cannon fodder for the McMahons. To me, they should be built up as near equal stars as Orton (like the Horsemen of Blanchard, Arn, Windham), and have the ability to main-event any show.

I would never buy a Cody Rhodes as a main event wrestler.

I think they should have kept Manu around as the tough enforcer of the stable.

I could buy Rhodes as a Tully Blanchard-type. A cowardly heel who gets his wins by cheating. They could have kept Manu as an enforcer type. Problem is, he wasn't really very established, and he didn't really have an intimidating look on TV (he wasn't 6-8, 300 pounds of muscle, in other words), and he never really had an opportunity on the mic.

I figured Trips would be stripped of the title on Raw, so he wouldn't have to do a job to lose it, then turn around and win it back at the next PPV so he can close in on Flair's record.

That's what HHH would have done in the past, anyway.

Uh, so much for your dream of Vickie's swan song.
She's now fully in the RAW family, and her minions are soon to come.

You know, I don't as much mind her. People can't stand her. Obviously, they're doing something right.

If they could just get that whole family stable going strong again, it might be one of the top things for them.

Then again, a return to the stable wars of the mid-1990s might not be a bad thing right now.

Vickie is an annoying, annoying personality but I think that's kind of the point. Few people draw the kind of heat she does right now.

So, anyone wanna guess what the revolution is going to be? Think they'll do something drastic?

I'm sorry but Batista sucks. I honestly thought about jumping on here last night and calling for his return before the show started. But I was watching UNc-MSU. Anyway - Batist just doesn't do it for me. He's a roided-out freak with like five moves, stupid acting, and botches just about everything. I was happy that he wasn't in the ring for the past 4-5 months. Now I've got to watch his disgusting muscular/veins-oddly-popping-out-of-his-chest ass on every RAW and PPV. Ugh. Please send him to SD.

Orton oversold Vince's punches way too much. It was stupid that they let a 60-plus year-old man just whoop on one of the company's top stars, a 28-year-old who's held the gold a few times. Lame.

Santina had me cracking up. That dude is hilarious. I don't think the Santina thing can go on for more than a few weeks, but it'll be funny while it lasts.

As you guys mentioned, Steamboat looks good for an old man. I think last night was his final "match" or whatever. His solo in-ring celebration after the win gave the "goodbye" impression.

I'd like to see Edge on RAW. Love the character but I've never watched a SD in my life.

Taker-Michaels off made sense. Those guys beat on each other and earned at least one night off.

Kofi wasn't there, either. No surprise. He took a few hard falls on the ladders.

I keep thinking Shane is going to turn on Vince but he always gets beat up by the Legacy so it's obviously not happening soon.

Here's a replay of WM 25. HBK-Taker is about to start. Stream is a little choppy and blurry, but hey, it's free.

OK, so that feed was awful. Here's a four-part video of the battle.

That's Part 1. In the search box, just rename the file from WWE Wrestlemania 25 Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels 1/4 to WWE Wrestlemania 25 Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels 2/4 and so on.

While on the subject of 2009's Match of the Year, I found this an interesting tidbit, from WrestleZone.com:

"Excitement2009" sent along the following to WrestleZone.com: I don't know if you know this, but Sim Snuka was the "camerman" that Undertaker was diving onto at WrestleMania 25 this past Sunday night during his match with Shawn Michaels.

Well, that sucks for Snuka. That guy had talent, too.
