2009 Running Pro Wrestling Thread

I wonder how secretive WWE is keeping the draft this year. I remember when Jim Ross moved last year he was so infuriated that he almost quit.

 

I'd much rather see Matt Striker as a wrestler, but he's a born-to-be commentator. The guy does a great job at the booth.

 

Batista - "It's so good to be back."

Me - "And I hope Orton punts your ass back to the DL."

 

We can only hope, right?

 

Wow. Mysterio vs. Bourne. That match is going to be nothing short of crazy.

I can't imagine they'll make any changes that affects the Backlash main, so they aren't going to flip Batista or break up Legacy.

Cole/Striker or Ross/Striker might be the best possible combination of announcer. Maybe Grisham/Striker. But Striker is heads above all the best color guy in wrestling.

Any talent shifts will benefit Raw. The MyNetwork saga makes SD too uncertain to commit major talent to. Especially if they end up flipping it to WGN.

A thought: Why can't Shane McMahon just fire Vickie Guerrero? Instead of acting like any other wrestler when she EXCUSE ME!s her way out?

 

MVP is an excellent addition to RAW's roster. I'm excited about being able to see him every Monday night.

I thought the same thing about Vickie dictating things to Shane. Isn't he her boss? WWE can't think we're all that dumb, right? Ok, well...

Bourne vs. Mysterio was way too short. Those two could work for 15 minutes, easy.

MVP to RAW. No pop from the crowd. He's going to have to define his role. Is he face or heel?

 

They just turned him face not too long ago, so I doubt they'll change him back.
