My guess is Buzz Tyler. He was a Central States mainstay in the 1980s.

    Notice:

Kevin Nash should no longer be in a wrestling ring.

    End.

Same could be said for every member of the MEM in TNA ...

Angle and Booker can still work. Steiner's not great, but he's not a total liability, either (we're assuming that Sting is no longer in the MEM, though he's never officially left or been booted). I'd take them all over Foley, who really shouldn't be wrestling at this point in the game.

This is breaking news ... from seven years ago.

Unfortunately, I can't see the photo. Would love to have a guess.

I saw Larry Zbyszko doing an ESPN commercial for some strength product. He was standing in a graveyard and saying not to take steroids like the guys who are buried here. Yikes.

Yeah, whatever happened to Foley being 'retired' in 2001?

Seriously, can't wrestlers just stick to a retirement?

The only one I can think of, at least recently anyway, who stuck to that is The Rock. Although, I don't think he actually retired, he hasn't stepped foot in a ring and some time, and if I'm not mistaken, his appearance at last year's HOF ceremony was his first at a WWE event since leaving.

Austin has pretty much stayed away.
Flair disappeared for the better part of the past year before resurfacing in the run-up to Wrestlemania. And, technically, he still didn't make a comeback in the ring even though the opportunity was there for him to do it.

I actually respected Flair more for not getting back in the ring, especially given his reason. I mean, technically he came out of retirement (He got his ass whooped on RAW) but I liked that he said he didn't wanna cheapen his match vs. Michaels. Even if that's all storyline, I'm for it.

As for the Rock, have you seen him lately? He'd look very weird in the ring. Homie has lost a ton of muscle. Austin, IIRC, didn't have a choice but to stay away.

As for others who retired and stayed away, you've got to respect anyone not named Hogan.

    Hogan sucks.

So the PPV is tonight, right? What should we expect from this card? I hope Orton punts Batista back into a four months furlough.

    My predictions:

Shane or Batista screw HHH over, Orton wins the title via DQ
Edge and Cena both knocked out for the 10-count, Cena retains title
    Jeff Hardy makes Matt tap
    Steamboat wins cleanly
    Santina kisses Khali....and likes it
    Swagger pins Christian
    Punk beats Kane again
