Wait. Are we talking Reid or his old man? I know Ric has been around, but not Reid.

We are both talking about Ric, I believe.

Reid has never been on WWE TV except for Ric's retirement match, Hall of Fame, and following RAW. He's 21, was an accomplished amateur wrestler in high school, and was trained by Harley Race last year. He currently holds an NWA championship (kind of worthless in today's industry, but still). You would think that Vince would be licking his chops at a guy with that kind of pedigree.

Reid did wrestle a few matches as a kid in WCW. One against Eric Bishoff and one vs. his brother David and Vince Russo.

The legal problems are disappointing to say the least.

OK. Now I'm caught up. For whatever reason, Firefox didn't load that entire site earlier, and I didn't see the stuff after Reid's mugs.

Ric left WWE by mutual agreement a few months after he retired, so he could pursue his own marketing deals without having to clear it with WWE, or give them a piece of the financial pie. It was on good terms.

He's appeared at a few Ring of Honor shows, and even, at one point, considered getting back in the ring in Europe. But he changed his mind.

Hasn't been on WWE TV much since WM24, but he hasn't been anywhere else either. And given his past as one of the top guys in the top organizations, it's just weird to think of him going somewhere like ROH.

I wonder how much he makes for appearing at an ROH show?

I see they're finally giving Tommy Dreamer the title push he deserves! :D

Gillberg came out on Raw, pinned CM Punk for the Money In The Bank briefcase and cashed it in on Smackdown, pinning Edge and winning the title

    Yes, there is news:

The McMahons have decided that since ratings are down, that Vince will win the heavyweight belt, Stephanie will take the women's strap and they will revive the European championship, which Shane will win! That'll put some butts in the seats.

    Oh, wait ....

am i the only one tired of the spinner belt? i said something about it awhile back, but it needs to go.

i haven't even seen the damn thing spin in so long. if cena isn't champ, there's no reason for that to be the marqee belt on the flagship show.
