Funny stuff there with The Miz. They won't feud him with Cena, will they? (?!)

Care to elaborate on The Big Slow whooping Cena?

Excuse my naivete, but why do people hate Big Show so much?
Among the big guys of the industry, I've always thought he was one of the more talented ones. When motivated, he does the monster heel bit better than almost anyone (see his run in ECW when it first restarted); he has a decent personality and isn't terrible on the mic; and for a big guy he's fairly agile. It was a long, long time ago, but I remember him throwing freaking drop kicks back in his WCW and early WWF days:

I've always been a fan for some reason.

I don't hate him. He's just gotten pretty bloated and slow over the past few years. Age seems to be catching up.

I agree that he is good on the mic and plays the monster heel role well.

It's fun to watch him ragdoll guys, even beasts like Cena.

One of my favorite Holy Shit wrestling moments was when Lesner and him broke the ring on that superplex. Staged or not, it was fucking awesome. I didn't watch WWE from like 2000-late 2007, so I missed a lot of stuff like that. Thank goodness for YouTube.

Oh, wait.... real one, I swear.

Slowed down? After Show left WCW, I'll admit: He was out of shape.

After he left WWE and tried to persue a boxing career and then came back to WWE, the guy was in shape. He's gained some of that weight back, but I think he's not as bad as he was when he debuted.

Yeah, he's definitely gone through more skinny and fat periods than Oprah. There's been times he's looked pretty lean, even, given his height. It was funny because they'd bill him at 450, 500 pounds and he looked lean and mean, like he was maybe 300 or 350.

I always thought if a superplex was going to break the ring, it'd be these two guys:

    Two thoughts:
    1) Funny that Hogan and Bossman had a reputation for being slugs in the ring, and manage to pull off a move like this.
    2) I think they did this spot a few times. This clip is from a Saturday Night's Main Event, but I remember seeing it on a house show broadcast from MSG when I was a kid.

Speaking of Show, who has always been one of my favorites, I stumbled upon this hilarious remake of his Titantron:

Day-um. I must say it's fun to see Cena get shown up both on the mic (by Miz) and in the ring (Big Show's ragdoll routine). I could've sworn I heard some 6-year-old in the front row yell, "Big Show, stop!" at some point last night.

I was half expecting Cena to come back from that beating and no-sell his injuries like he always does. About the only things I like from him are his mic work and his intro song.

    And, schiez,

I have three WWE ringtones on my phone. Orton for text messages, Cena for calls and HHH. If I can find Edge's it'll replace Cena's fast.

I've got one of those new T-Mobile razors. It lets you assign your own ringtones so I can pretty much put whatever song I want on it. I'm thinking it's time for some Kofi love.

Right now I've got the new Orton for calls, Edge for messages. I think I'm subbing out Edge's with Kofi's.
