Looks like I'll have a reason to start watching TNA.

MF'er ... he would be main eventing right now if he had stayed healthy.

It's really a shame. Kennedy has the charisma that a lot of guy in his generation lack.

I'm sure this isn't the last we've heard of him.

Well...from here he can get booked into Bolivian in TNA...

This guy is way too fragile to invest anything significant in.

Can't say WWE didn't try. They gave him a MITB win, his own movie, and some great opportunities, particularly soon after his debut.

Based on the overwhelming yawn he got in LA last week, his milquetoast in-ring work (mic gimmick aside), his seeming inability to work as a baby, and his fragility ... I am not surprised.

I'm a bit surprised because of how much they gave him in that segment, letting him interrupt Orton and enter the 10-man match they were hyping so hard.

Given Kennedy's willingness to speak his mind, and McMahon's tendency to work the boys in the back, I wonder if this isn't some sort of work where Kennedy takes shots at WWE on his website, works a couple of ROH or Dragon's Gate matches, then starts causing unscripted-style trouble at Raw out of the blue (Matt Hardy/Brian Pillman).

Liked f4wonline.com's one-line story about it: Mr. Kennedy has been wished well in his future endeavors. Endeavors.

  7. The hilarious part is Kennedy is the focal point of all the USA ads for Raw this week.

Surprised they haven't pulled those yet.

You mean Vince, one week after crying about the Nuggets debacle and the owner's lack of faith in his team being in the playoffs, is now advertising a guy who he lost faith in so much that he fired the guy and now Vinny Mac's doing false advertising? :D

The other problem I have is the WWE firing Kennedy, Kennedy just for getting hurt (again). Strikes me as rather mean-spirited to fire a guy while he's hurt.

It reminds me of when WCW fired Steve Austin by mail while Austin was injured with a torn rotator cuff. If Kennedy surfaces in TNA and becomes a huge star, that could hurt the WWE.

The official website of Mr. Kennedy, www.Ken-Kennedy.com, released the following statement in light of his release from World Wrestling Entertainment last night: "Ken is physically 100 percent healthy, and very optimistic about his future in the business. More details will follow."

WWE still doesn't have a problem making a buck off him: http://auction.wwe.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=105607669&prmenbr=37460399&aunbr=105954379
