You should check out the video he has on his Facebook page.

  2. I think it was more about almost hurting Orton on a suplex during that match.

That's based solely on what I've read, as I gave up on this week's Raw WAAAAY before that.

Kennedy will be in TNA before the summer is over.

    Book it.

    From Wrestlezone.com:

"The early word on why Mr. Kennedy received his surprising release from World Wrestling Entertainment yesterday was that in addition to injuring himself yet again, his nearly injuring Randy Orton was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Kennedy returned to RAW this past Monday night after spending ten months on the shelf rehabbing a badly injured shoulder. In his first match back, during a spot in the main event with Randy Orton, Kennedy injured his wrist.

However the more important issue in the eyes of WWE management was that Orton nearly re-injured his bad shoulder as a result of an errant move on the part of Kennedy.

According to sources, Orton and Kennedy had words backstage after the show, although it was said it wasn't heated. Apparently Orton very calmly dressed Kennedy down, explaining he has to be more careful so he doesn't injure anyone else in the ring.

WWE.com confirmed the release of Mr. Kennedy on the website yesterday in their "Industry News" tab."

I guarantee you *nobody* in TNA is actually hurting WWE at this point. If it's not about how horrible it is, TNA doesn't get mentioned on this thread. Tthe last time I actually remembered Kennedy in a match before this week's RAW was when I still had cable. That was 2+ years ago. He's Grant Hill or Penny Hardaway, circa early 2000s. It sucks for him, but you've gotta actually be able to compete on a regular basis...clearly, he can't do that right now.

Either that, or he just royally pissed somebody off up top/in the back, at which stage my point becomes moot...

    EDIT:
OK, nearly putting a top guy out of commission would fall under 'things that make my point moot'

Well, that changes things a bit. The wrestlers have to be able to trust one another in the ring, and if they can't trust a guy and they don't want to work with him, he's basically useless.

  8. Well, that's one less reason for me to watch WWE anymore, as I really only tune in on occasion to watch Edge, Orton, Jeff Hardy and Mr. Kennedy.

I'm wondering how much Mr. Kennedy's mistake in the ring could be attributed to rust. After all, I imagine of you spend 10 months out of the ring your timing is probably off, just like any other athlete.

Orton looked PISSED after that suplex where he nearly got injured. He jumped right up off the mat, pounded his fist on the ground and screamed something at Kennedy before tagging out. I think he was legitimately spooked that he almost got hurt again.

Wrestlers have botched moves before, with big-name superstars even, and they haven't been fired over it. The piledriver Austin took when he broke his neck immediately comes to mind.

I wondered why Orton bounced up like he did following the suplex. I thought it was just part of the act, but now that I think about it, he was legitimately pissed off.

To be fair, apart from the whole "KENNEDY!!!!" thing, what did MK bring to the WWE? He had OK mic skills, but so too does Orton, HHH, HBK, MVP, Miz, e.t.c.

He was only decent in the ring, nowhere near as good as younger guys like Kofi, Morrison, Bourne and the like.

I'm sure they could have built him up but couple with his injuries, there isn't a NEED for him.

He'll be injured two months from now, again, and the folks who buy tickets at all of TNA's outback stops will be really concerned.
