I thought Orton was over-selling that suplex like he does Shane's jabs. But, like you guys, I look back at it and it makes sense he was pissed off. He took a swipe at Kennedy after the move. I'm going to search YouTube for it.

Here's the final five minutes of RAW.

Kennedy-Orton stuff at 3:03 then the RKO at 4:23.

That main move Kennedy put on Dibiase Jr. also looked painful and a little botched.

And yet Dave Batista still has a job.

It seems as though Edge and CM Punk will be beginning a program with one another soon.

I was listening to the radio this morning and they were promoting a live event coming to my area on August 1st, and they were hyping that CM Punk vs. Edge will headline the card.

is the ppv sunday? guess that means jeff loses.

even then, they've been building it up the last several weeks with all the quasi cash ins punk has tried.

    Completely agree.

Look at his ring work - he was decent, but he wasn't good. Cool finishers, OK mic skills. He had some major PPV stinkers. I'd much rather take Morrison, Benjamin, Miz, MVP, Swagger, Christian, Punk, Kingston, R-Truth, etc.

I am impressed. Kofi-MVP was a terrific match. Lots of good, really good wrestling. Kofi is your new champ. MVP lost with honor, too.

I wonder what the future holds for MVP? Both were over in this match, but the crowd popped bigger for Kofi, especially during the match.

Does this put MVP up to main event level? Is IC bigger than US title? If so, does MVP feud for that? I forgot who has the IC title. Regal?

Mysterio has the IC title and he's on Smackdown. I guess this means MVP starts getting into the WWE Title picture.

Holy shit. This Flair-Orton brawl is a bloodbath.

I like Flair and Orton, but I don't understand the reason or this ending of Raw. Flair is going to disappear in a few weeks thus making this absolutely pointless.

If it was Batista or Triple H returning to beat the hell out of Orton, that'd be different.

EDIT: Well, that makes more sense.

Orton appeared to be bleeding from his neck - on the back and/or left side - or his left ear. His chest, even through that pretty boy tan, was beat red from Flair's slaps.

Flair had a big cut on the back of his head and ORton's blood littered his shirt and knuckles.

During Legacy's beatdown of Flair, someone off camera wiped most of that blood off Orton.

As fun as it was to watch those two beat the shit out of each other, I still don't get why WWE has Flair in action like this. He's retired. I wish he would've left and kept that dignity after the WM 24 loss. And how believable -no matter how great Flair was - is it that a 60-plus year-old can stand toe-to-toe with 28-year-old WWE champ? In fact, the latter needed help to break the figure four.

That Orton-Batista stuff at the end was great. The WWE probably got a ton more buys with that bit.
