I haven't really been watching, but just flipping back and forth. All I know is that Batista got injured and Orton will be using his rematch clause tonight. If Batista doesn't show up, he will forfeit the title.

Match-wise, Kofi beat Regal to retain the U.S. title; Santino, Goldust and someone else won a six-man tag (wasn't paying much attention); and Miz and Cena are about to have a match.
EDIT: Big Show runs in and beats down Cena. Miz comes back after eating a Cena foot and attacks Big Show with a chair, and gets in a chair shot on an unconscious Cena. I like it. It keeps this Miz-Cena "feud" going and even adds a little extra juice to it.

Vickie quits as GM, Edge comes out and verbally destroys her, confirming that he only married for her power.

I guess that's the end of Vickie: in the middle of the ring screaming, while the fans chant "Na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye!"

    Thank God.

Her character was stale, boring and unnecessary. I can understand WWE's desire to hire her after Eddie died, but it came to a point where it was just stupid.

I wonder if this means that Edge will be turning face.

And we replace one stale character (Batista) with another (HHH).
Is this a match? Does this mean we will in fact get some sort of tournament for the title?

So does Orton get the title or not? The ref stopped the count at 9 for some reason. It's not like Batista was coming.

So the botching roided freak goes away for a while and the boring less-roided freak comes back? Wonderful.

Orton took that beating like a man. Some solid shots.

Edge got a good pop from the crowd, especially after his verbal abuse of Vicki. If this possible talk of Punk going heel is true, then Edge as a face makes sense. Either way, that dude is awesome.

I'm guessing no match, and a vacant title. I'm also guessing HHH wasn't planning on coming back just yet, which makes me wonder if that was a one-shot deal (giving Orton a richly deserved beating and then disappearing again), or if he's back in the main event mix again (I hope not).

That was a perfect time for an MVP entrance. Alas...

I'm guessing Triple H is back and will be part of a match for the title involving Randy Orton, MVP and, perhaps, Big Show?

    Here's what I'm hoping for:

    1. Regal gets the GM job back.
    2. They don't bury Punk this time during his title reign.
    3. They keep this Jericho-Mysterio feud going.

I don't care what they do to Edge. He's great no matter what he does.
