Totally did not see that coming at all.

That was just weird. Something is very fishy with this angle.

If they take Orton out of the Rumble does that open up a spot for HBK?

It's an interesting angle because it's very rare to see a heel to do that to Vince where in the past the babyface (Stone Cold, The Rock, DX, HHH) have been known to be the main antagonists to Vince. Even after Orton kicked Vince, Orton looked to be shocked at his actions.

Oh, I kind of missed it cause I was watching the Lakers/Cavs game, did Jericho actually get rehired after he apologized to the fans?

They'll figure something out with Orton. Awesome angle. My only problem: it detracts from the JBL-Cena-Michaels drama, which has been most excellent. Now Orton is indisputably the top heel on Raw.

Memo to Chris Jericho: TURN DOWN ANY AND ALL ANGLES WITH STEPHANIE MCMAHON. Your character will invariably be emasculated.

I *think* so. Stephanie said she'd see him at the Rumble. But maybe that doesn't mean as a wrestler. Maybe he'll be her servant again like he in essence was a few years ago while feuding with Triple H. Or he could be used to avenge her father by going after Orton, but that'd just be strange.

I'm rather upset that I'm still unsure of Jericho's future. I mean I hate the guy's attitude but he's, without a doubt, one of the top heels on Raw and an excellent wrestler.

Not being worked here, but it did look like in the replays that Vince missed blocking the kick by Orton, or at least deflecting it. It just seemed very very peculiar.

Either way, what an intriguing way to end a show.

Considering Orton's reaction after the incident, I'd be interested to know if it was a work or if it was truly an accident that was botched. Considering Rhodes and DiBiase came out, I'm leaning towards it being a work. In such cases, if someone was seriously injured (i.e. Owen Hart), wrestlers wouldn't have come out.

This storyline could either be very cool, or we could be seeing Orton-McMahon at Wrestlemania. Please God, don't let it be that.
