Taker has wrestled a few times since Mania. Granted, it's been on Superstars, but he's wrestled.

I honestly wish a few other wrestlers would follow Undertaker's schedule. Maybe to a lesser extent, but the same basic idea. Keep them in the picture for five or six months, then give them two off. It'd keep them fresher physically and let them build up some other guys, which would also keep them fresher to fans.
Granted, not everyone has the gravitas of an Undertaker and can disappear for two months at a time, come back and have it be like they never left. It's just an idea.

Great idea, but who actually has said gravitas?
    —Undertaker
    —Michaels
    —Cena
    —Trips

Anyone else in the board's opinion?

Edge, Orton and Jericho are probably there.
In a strange way, I think Big Show is too. He's always just kind of around, and whether he's there or not he's been around so long that he's always in the back of your mind.

    Orton, for one.

Edge is getting there. And so is Jericho, Jeff Hardy (to an extent, at least) and (like Batman said) Big Show.

Don't they already get that due to injury?

How in the blue hell did I forget my two favorite guys? I need a vacation...

John Cena needs a break. A permanent one, too.

Would you want the financial loss in merchandising he brings? And that doesn't even take into consideration his fanbase and what will happen to them.

    Oh, I have. He's Hogan v2.0, yet, I can't stand it.

I think what Cena needs more than anything is a good heel turn.

I've been wanting that forever. He played the heel role for so long and, while many fans do like to cheer him, there are many who like to boo him, too.
