2009 Running Pro Wrestling Thread

Kind of an odd time of the year for WWE to be pulling out all the stops to pop a big rating. Even weirder just one week later, they're going to be running two hours commercial-free on next Monday's Raw.

 

It's kind of sad that Raw has to pull out these three-hour shows to attract viewers. It really shows how bad the product has gotten over the past decade or so. I remember when I was younger and I tuned in every week because the storylines were intriguing and you were just waiting for what would happen. Today, it seems like the storylines are predictable. Some of that has to do with me being older and less naive to how the wrestling business works, but still. It's boring nowadays.

 

What a match to start the night off with.

 

Hell of a match. And Vinnie Mac is in the house so it'll be interesting what he has to say.

 

WTF? This angle will fail.

I won't spoil it for those on the west coast, etc. but you'll understand when you hear it.

Instead of Vince announcing a new GM of Raw, he told the live audience that he's selling Raw.

 

O...K...

I have no hopes for whatever's about to happen succeeding.

 

Three title matches in the first hour? WTF?

 

At least they're going to make the big announcement after this match, so we won't have to wait another 2 hours to be disappointed.

Are you fucking serious? If Vince wanted to put Raw into the dump anymore, he just did it.

 

Gag me with a fucking hairpiece.

 

I'm covering a game and can't watch. What's going on? And who's won what matches so far?
