better than a standard match if they're going to give us that. i'm trying to look for the silver lining here. really wish they'd flip friday's lineup to monday, but i think that's obvious at this point.

    Random Raw thoughts:

    1. I can't believe I'm saying this, but The Miz might be the best thing Raw has going now. More good mic work.
    2. That was a great sell by Punk if he's not really hurt.
    3. Why Trump? Why?
    4. Good Fatal Fourway match.
    5. Tommy Dreamer is so slow.

Now wait just a minute. Randy Orton vs. Triple H is a fresh match.
They've had Stone Cold and Fritz Von Erich on way too much the past couple of months. About time they had two fresh faces.

What are you talking about? Stone Cold hasn't been on WWE since WrestleMania. And who the blue hell is Fritz Von Erich?

Oh, wait, I see what you did there.

    Was that sarcasm?

    :)

Oh, and I called the Triple H win, too. Even before the match even started. ;D

I mainly follow RAW because I have Monday nights off, have to work on Fridays, and don't have a DVR.

So, as you can imagine, I'm not real happy about tonight's developments. I've been hoping against hope that RAW reverses the downward slide and now they give a feature spot to a guy I can't stand to have on my TV for more than five seconds. Seriously, I really fucking hate Trump.

    Other thoughts:

Internet reports say Punk seemed legit hurt. I hope it isn't too serious. I thought maybe it was a work because soon after, Hardy came over and started working on the knee, which made me think it was a planned spot. Looks like I was wrong about that.

Unlike others on the board, I really don't like the Miz character. However, I did like what they did with him on the battle royal. He was chokeslammed by Big Show, but never went over the rope. Then after commercial, he was nowhere to be seen, so I figured it was just WWE missing on continuity. But then, he emerges from under the ring when Cena and HHH were left and tried to catch them by surprise. I knew he wasn't going to win the BR, but it was a clever twist, I thought.

miz peaking over the apron was hilarious. best spot of the night.

if punk is really hurt, smackdown is going to suck.
