McMahon's influence from TV is showing. These storylines are getting lamer than soap operas.

That's why RAW is nothing to me anymore. Gimme SD! and ECW on Hulu (since I'm poor and don't have cable).

I don't think all the angles are bad (The Maryse-Mickie James feud is fun to watch and the Miz is awesome) but I do agree that, right now, SD is a better show pound-for-pound.

Of course, part of that is the questionable decision not to push the MVP storyline further and the even more baffling decision not to have a legit tag team division week in and week out.

I agree with the problem of the lack of tag teams. 20 years ago, the tag team division could main event house shows and TV tapings. Now, they are afterthoughts.

And yeah, I've said this before, but I'll say it again. Bring back managers for some of the talent that cannot talk very well.

They really need to spice up the main event picture. It's been Orton, HHH, Batista and Cena for three-plus years now, with Big Show near the top as well. Once in a while, someone else gets in the mix for a brief time (Jericho, HBK).

Now is the time to really push the young guys. DiBiase should be close to Orton's equal in Legacy, instead of just one of his lackeys. They should give him the IC belt for a very long reign.

You'll never see tag teams and managers come back en vogue again as long as Vince McMahon is running WWE. The thinking: Why pay four guys to take up a slot on the card with a tag match when you can pay two guys to have a singles match? Same basic premise for the lack of managers: They're just an extra expense.

And Baron, while I agree that they need to work in some new talent, what exactly has Ted DiBiase done to warrant a main event-level position? He stumbles over his promos, he has a completely generic look and has no distinct moves. If is name wasn't Ted DiBiase, would he even have a job right now?

As a counter, here are a few suggestions for midcarders who could be given the push to make the upper card interesting again: Kofi Kingston, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Evan Bourne, Christian.

The sad thing is that most of those guys have no shot in hell of ever getting to the top of the card, mostly because of their size. But wouldn't a little diversity (and by that, I mean wrestling styles and personalities) be nice?

His Million Dollar Dream into a Russian leg sweep begs to differ. *Love* that move.

Also a huge fan of Melina's powerbomb/Canadian Destroyer-esque/whatchamacallit. It looks awesome, and it seems surprisingly safe. When she hit it on Alicia Fox last week, Fox landed flat on her back.

I don't know how it is now (I haven't watched RAW for 3 weeks), but Cole seemed to be pushing DiBiase's skill quite a bit whenever he was in a Legacy match. I wouldn't put him as close to Orton's equal, but he should be further up the middle of the card. Let Orton have the WWE belt for a long reign, DiBiase the US and DiBiase/Rhodes the tag belts? If they're supposed to be the top heel group, give them all the straps and let the faces gun for them.

Well, he's a member of Legacy, which is the top heel group.

I'm not saying give him a run with the big belt just yet. But they should make him more of a threat. Have him take out Cena or someone like that.

When Flair led the Horsemen (80s versions), you had several other guys (Blanchard, Luger, Windham, even Vicious, although he wasn't that good) in the second slot who were main eventers in their own right. Guys who wanted to get to Flair needed to get past the second guy first.

Now, anyone who wants a piece of Orton, generally gets him. DiBiase and Rhodes are nearly useless.

Whatever happened to the cruiserweight title?

Have Orton be the WWE champ, DiBiase the U.S. or IC champ and Rhodes the cruiserweight champ, as well as DiBiase and Rhodes the "undisputed" tag champs.

Rhodes takes like every single bump for the team...he's totally useful! :D

It disappeared, just like the Hardcore title (which I enjoyed, although the 24/7 rule got ridiculous) and the European title.

Your last cruiserweight champion .... Hornswoggle ::)
