Too bad we didn't get to see them go at it. But the move makes sense with Swagger being a heel and all. Just curious why he and Orton locked up for a few seconds before Swagger's move.

Also, didn't know he was Jack Sthwagger.

Mizark Henry? Eh. Who can he feud with on RAW? I guess moving him here is alright given that he wasn't doing much in ECW (right?).

If they don't move Christian, I'll be pissed.

  3. I can't help but think I could have turned to any other channel if I wanted to watch people NOT wrestle.

    DAMNIT.

Funny how Orton will job (look at the past few months - Shane, Batista, Henry ( I know there's more) but not guys like HGH or Cena (well maybe him somewhat).

They've made Orton out to be this pansy over the past few months getting beat up by Shane and Ric Flair and always needing help from his lackeys. Fawkin BS.

  7. I never thought I'd see a RAW ending with a Mark Henry win and celebration.

Bizarre. He acted very face, so is Mark Henry a good guy now?

Who the hell is left in the main event picture at ECW?
Not saying those three didn't deserve a push to the big show, but ... damn. If they move Christian, Tommy Dreamer's going to be pulling an Al Snow and wrestling himself for the title.

Also, does Swagger try to join up with Legacy? Maybe he replaces Dibiasie, or they just become a foursome.

Oh, and the ending of the Miz-Cena match sucked. I like Cena in a lot of ways. But I'm sick of the Cena-HHH-Orton circle jerk for the title. Let's bring some unpredictability back, please. The middle of that match was fun because I thought Miz might have had a chance. I talked myself into it. As soon as Cena hit a couple of his moves, I started to yawn.

One more thing ... the Pedigree loses something when they guy receiving it clearly lands on his fucking elbows. The last few times HHH hit it on Orton, it's been sloppy as hell. The one on MVP tonight was the same way. Not sure if those guys just aren't selling it well, or if HHH is letting go of the arms too early (I lean toward the latter), but it doesn't look convincing.

  11. Well don't we have to see which 5 guys go to ECW? Remember it's a 15 man trade, with 5 new wrestlers on each brand - and only Swagger, Bourne, and Henry have been announced as moving to RAW. I expect Christian to go to SmackDown and Dreamer to stay on ECW and get some fresh blood to feud against.

I agree with the complaints that HHH, Cena, and Orton is incredibly stale. In my opinion, SmackDown's title chase is much more interesting because Punk and Hardy are fresh faces and make for more interesting television. WWE needs to elevate somebody, anybody new on RAW or risk losing viewers who are simply sick of the same three always dominating the main event scene.

Love what they are doing with Edge/Chris Jericho. I think it eventually sets up Edge for a face run in a few months. Although he's a great heel, I would love to see a face Edge for not too long, but maybe a year or so. Maybe reform the Edge/Christian team as a face duo which would be super over.

    Here's the full trade:

    Moving to the Raw roster:
    Gail Kim
    Alicia Fox
    Jack Swagger
    Evan Bourne
    Mark Henry

    Moving to the SmackDown roster:
    Matt Hardy
    Finlay
The Hart Dynasty - David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd & Natalya

    Moving to the ECW roster:
    Shelton Benjamin
    Goldust
    William Regal
    Brie & Nikki Bella

More Hardy v. Hardy? And ECW really took it in the shorts -- lose all the big names that aren't Christian and Tommy Dreamer, and they get Shelton Benjamin and William Regal and squat. But they'll probably call up some new meat from FCW.
