Jesus. Matt Hardy is becoming a bit injury-prone lately. I hate to say it, but that guy is a injury or two away from being done for good. He isn't necessarily young anymore.

Thank God they found a way to get Cena and Triple H in yet another championship match. It's not like we've seen a triple threat of Triple H/John Cena/Randy Or.... oh, I just remember WrestleMania 24. Sorry. Move along.

    Thank you very much.

Couple of reactions to that, in no order.

SON OF A BITCH for another Triple threat match.

Carlito and Primo never did it for me. Carlito as a face was bleh. Primo was just all around bleh.

MVP-Swagger could be damn good. That's a nice mid card feud.

Really wish I could've seen The Million Dollar Man.

Did they say who's hosting next week?

Ted DiBiase, in the old Georgia Championship Wrestling days, was a hell of a worker.

He was one of -- if not my favorite -- favorite wrestlers back in the day. He was being considered for an NWA World title run, he was that good.

I really hated the MDM gimmick. I thought it cheapened him as a performer.

He was great in Mid-South, as well. He and Hacksaw Jim Duggan were quite a pair. I remember back then Dibiase (Da-byoosey as the Cat Ernie Ladd would call him) would wear a glove on his right hand and was always loading it with a foreign object from his trunks.

Didn't like him much when he went to WWF and became the Million Dollar Man. But easily one of the better heels out there. Knew how to work a crowd into a frenzy.

This thread's been quiet the last couple of days, so here's a new question for discussion:

What is your favorite opener to an entrance theme?

I'm not talking about the whole song. I'm just talking about the first few seconds:

    My list:

    1. Million Dollar Man's laugh
    2. The first few notes of Pomp and Circumstances
    3. The gong of the Undertaker's theme
    4. The countdown to Jericho
    5. The glass breaking to Austin's theme
    6. Ultimate Warrior song's first few notes
    7. The bagpipes to Roddy Piper's entrance
    8. The guitar riff to Voodoo Chile. (Hogan)
    9. Carlito's "I spit in the face, of people who don't want to be cool."
    10. The opening riff to Kurt Angle's 'I don't suck' theme in WWE
    11. Time to play the Game
    12. Edge's 'You think you know me'
    13. MVP's clock ticking
    14. Orton's new theme (I forget what the words are)
    15. Cena's Word Life entrance (I like it better than his current one)

Currently listening to 'Burn In My Light' (Orton's old theme). RKO may hate it, but I love it...especially the opening.

I love Jericho's countdown clock, although I'm a mark for him in general. It always makes me think back to his first WWF appearance, when he interrupted The Rock.

I may be a bit biased, but I don't think anything has or ever will come as close to getting the monster pop as the glass breaking in "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's entrance.

That said, I also loved the old Road Warriors entrance to Black Sabbath's "Ironman"

And though I can't stand the guy, the "Caw, caw, caw" or whatever entrance to Shawn Michaels' theme is cool as hell.

I like the beginning of Cena's theme. That quick little build-up to the music hitting is just enough to get you fired up -- and forget that Cena's coming out and the match is going be predictable.
