Bret Hart did do an interview for the angle that they blew McMahon up in. I think he's kind of softened as the years have gone on, but he is kind of an A-hole anyway (at least he has some good reasons as opposed to someone like Shane Douglas), so I don't expect to see him on WWE television anytime soon.

I didn't hear that Victoria joined TNA - as Tara. Still as scorching as ever.

  3. I can't help but notice that WWE is running the same storyline for three different feuds at almost the same time, running something like this:

Heel criticizes Face for not being worth of the fan's affection. Face is insulted, then they fight.

CM Punk says Hardy isn't worthy because he has been suspended twice.
Swagger says MVP isn't worthy because he went to prison.
Jericho says Mysterio isn't worthy because he wears a mask (Jericho also criticizes the fans for being hypocrites).

In the end, all three heels try to take the moral high ground on the face. Somebody found something they like in the ol' playbook.

TNA has a PPV and no one cares ... at all.

In summary (via internet site reports):

Main Event Mafia wins all titles — except for X Division title which, for the first time since its creation, is not defended on a TNA PPV.

Yes, you heard it right: Kevin Nash beats AJ Styles to win the "Legends" title. Booker T and Steiner beat Beer Money to win the TNA tag titles. Angle, who is legit hurt going into the match, does beat Foley to keep the TNA title.

Jenna vs. Sharmell is officially, according to multiple sites, the worst PPV match of the year. I think Jenna won, but anyone who actually watched the match lost.

Angelina Love regains women's title from Tara (Victoria from WWE)

Taz (Tazz) appears as Samoa Joe's advisor. Joe, by the way, makes Sting tap out in their match.

Bobby Lashley is expected to start with the company with the next set of Impact TV tapings.

OK, there you have it. Everyone's updated now. This has been a public service announcement. Thank you!

Next week's guest host .... Shaq!
That might be fun. And, honestly, it might be the turning point some others have mentioned, as far as getting A-List celebrities to guest host.

And now everyone can see it happening next week, when Shaq is GM of Raw.

This week's edition is pretty lame.

I watched enough to see the Tuxedo Match. I turned it off promptly after that.

Methinks I'm glad I stopped watching RAW/wrestling because of my work sked now.

I never thought I'd read those words from T_D. To your room now, Tommy!

That was just... awful... The WWE must sell a shit-ton of Hornswaggle merchandise or something, because I see no other reason for his being on television. McMahon has a weird fetish for midget wrestlers every couple of years, going back to the Doink and Lawler matches, and before them, the one that King Kong Bundy squashed in a Mania tag match.

The kids love Hornswoggle. And thusly, along with the E's overall PG rating, Hornswoggle has a roster spot and a recurring push.

You didn't miss much ... basically Santino dancing around to ZZ Top's 'Legs' while wearing a thong. ::)
