I wonder if that was really the plan, or if it was something Vince changed on the fly?

Probably. It was embarrassing in any case.

Which, of course, is what is expected.

Just got out of the PPV tonight. I don't know how it played on the TV but the crowd definitely realized it once the bell rang.

Fuck, what a great show. I'm so glad they went the way they did with everything (Though I could've done without the Cena win).

I need details of the event. Anyone care to share or at least link me? Thanks.

I've always liked this guy, and he has a good write-up of it today:

More like Montreal Screwjob, Part 367 or something along those lines. Off the top of my head, I know they did something similar in Montreal with Rock-Hogan II at No Way Out in 2003 (I think Sylvain Grenier was the crooked ref), not to mention Survivor Series 98 (which wasn't in Montreal), where Rock joined the Corporation and screwed over Mick Foley to win his first title

Noted wrestling writer Scott Keith nailed it in his blog:

I was actually hoping they would give Montreal a carrot - Instead of having HBK tap out to the figure four on the post and the Million Dollar Dream, why not have him tap in the middle of the ring to a sharpshooter? I would have liked that ending even more than the one they did, which was still pretty decent. As stale as DX is to me, they've had some great PPV tag team matches.

    Gee, this is so predictable.

Taker comes back and wins Hell in a Cell over Punk.

Legacy and DX will wrestle for a chance at Jericho and Show.

Jeff Hardy will go to prison.

And Cena will probably be Trish's partner tonight. Let's see if he can keep the ringpost in his pants from reappearing this time.

Just when I thought Trish couldn't look any hotter ... Brunette. Wow.

  11. I prefer her as a blond, but hell, do I ever wish she would come back full time.

Compare her to anyone not named Kelly Kelly and, well, no comparison.
