Yeah. The cage looked much bigger. I was thinking that it looked like a huge climb for Cena and Orton.

Cole and Lawler were saying that it was 20 feet high. I thought they were just exaggerating, like they used to do when they said a steel cage was 15-feet high, but it was only a couple of feet higher than the wrestlers' heads.

In one of Foley's books, he said the cage that he was thrown off of was 12 1/2 feet high from the cage to the ring, and that the ring is 3 1/2 feet high off the ground for a total of 16 feet.

The wrestlers have never been that high in the rafters when on top of the cage, either. I just don't remember the HITC being so huge like it was last night.

To me it looked like an entirely new structure. The design seemed different, it seemed a lot taller and much more intimidating.

I haven't seen a HITC match in ages though so perhaps someone could tell me if it's similar to the one used most recently (SS2008 I believe)

That's the revamped HIAC that debuted for the DX vs. Vince/Shane/Big Show match in Sept. 2006 and has been in use ever since.

No way in hell they would've given away a bump like Orton going through the cage on free TV. But the fact they teased it on Raw gives me a little hope that they plan some sort of big spot on Sunday.

Since they've gone PG, they won't do an old-school bloodbath anymore, which is when HIAC is at its best. So if you can't do a bloodbath, the next best thing is a wacky big spot. At least with those, you can rig them so that the participants are relatively safe.

Given that young Randall apparently has shoulders crafted out of fine porcelain, I doubt he will be doing the bump-through-the-Cell bit.

How about John Madden as a host when on the west coast? I doubt he'd take the van across the country for this, but...

With more than one cell match, they're going to have to have one guy take a big bump, and another match bloody. Otherwise, the three matches will just blend in.

Watched some of Smackdown last night. Seemed like a decent show.

Of course, the highlight was The Rock's video. I found it funny that they showed some little kids, who either weren't born when the Rock was wrestling or were very young, cheering along with the Rock's catchphrases.

I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to seeing Rock host Raw.

I'm trying not to think about Smackdown last night. I have the damn show DVRed every week on that pathetic excuse of a network and, without warning, they up and moved it to another channel for, from what I can tell, absolutely no reason.

WWE needs to put Smackdown on a real channel. Fuck this MyNetworkTV bull shit.

    Rant over.

    When is Rock hosting Raw?

    Hopefully soon.

SD was a decent show with a lot of weird, gimmicky things at the "party." Finlay getting Cole plastered was funny, as was the VIP Lounge excluding Zack Ryder.

And, of course, The Rock had the best bit on the show. "Who in the blue hell is Dolph Ziggler?" :D

Switching gears a bit...I've been watching both WWE and TNA lately, and I'm convinced Matt Morgan ('The Blueprint') is in the wrong promotion. Considering Vince's hard-on for big guys, how long would it take for Morgan to be a world champion in WWE if he switched over?

He didn't say during the taped segment, although I missed part of it. I hope it's soon, though.
