    My bets are:

Orton vs. Taker -> Champ vs. Champ (No Belts on the line though, obviously)
    Cena vs. CM Punk
    Jericho/Show vs. Legacy
    Morrison vs. Miz
    Mickie James vs. Michele McCool
    Kofi Kingston vs. ?

A PPV with no title defenses? Yikes.

Well, I'm under the assumption that they're not going to move the belts from one show to the other. If they are, you can easily make the Morrison vs. Miz match, the JeriShow match and the Kofi match all for the straps.

    JeriShow. I like it.

    What about Kofi/Mr. Ziggles?

Ok, apart from the lame ass football references, that actually wasn't a half-bad Raw.

Loved that they gave the Miz a clean win and the US Title. Loved the DX vs. Jerishow match. Could've done without the rest, but hey, it was better pound-for-pound than the vast majority of guest host shows.

Pissed they ruined the promise Bragging Rights had. Instead of an interesting Raw vs. SD PPV, we get an hour-long Cena vs. Orton match? I mean, I'll admit, they've been pretty good the last two PPVs but an Iron Man match? Why?

Also, unless they move someone major to Raw from SD (Like Taker or Punk), I don't envision them moving Cena, which means that he gets another title run and yet another freaking three-week reign.

Good to see The Miz win the belt. He's still a bit rough on his in-ring work, but he's made tremendous strides this year. He's a great heel on the mic, and I hope he gets a memorable run with this title.

Also looks like JeriShow will be feuding with DX, not Legacy, for the near future.

Only other thought on Raw was on Cena-Orton: a) Let's hope this is really the last time; and b) Having Cena lose and go to Smackdown has some possibilities. Has he ever feuded with Undertaker?
It's hard to see it happening, though. There's just not a lot of faces on that level right now.

I admit a Cena/Orton match for an hour could be good, but really, who gives a shit if Cena ends up leaving Raw? If he loses, he'll probably be back on Raw within a month at either a combined brand show, a storyline that reverses the stipulation, or the WWE will just hope that everyone forgets that he has to leave.

Raw was so-so. I kept switching back to the MNF game. Roethlisberger seemed to have the mic thing down pretty well, but the football stuff was pretty cheesy. It seemed like an 80s WWF show.

  8. I have to watch it on my DVR, but I would imagine they were limited in how much they could get Big Ben to participate, so they had to bring the cheese. As a Steelers fan, I just hope Ben came off well on the mic, which it sounds like that wasn't much of a problem.

He came off pretty well on the mic. And in the opening segment, he got some boos from the Eagles fans. He acknowledged it, and got a cheap pop by telling the fans they were all united in the WWE Universe.

I'd like to see a celebrity guest host try to be a heel, besides that failed week (I forget, Jeremy Piven?)

I was a little disappointed Roethlisberger didn't get a one-liner in on the Browns when the talked to the Miz.

  11. I thought the same thing at first, but then I thought about bulletin board material and all . . . rarely do you hear anyone in the NFL openly dissing teams or other players.

Obviously you forgot the immortal Taker/Big Bossman HIAC match where Taker "hung" Bossman from the cage.
