Would be pretty cool to see Jeff Hardy/Christian vs. Edge/Matt Hardy soon.

Christian's a damn good heel, but he can play the face role well too.

 

Maybe this sets up Christian to team up with Jeff for a total switcharound to the old feud.

 

Jericho's the best. That little backstage exchange with Orton was good.

 

I read of one competitor who is confirmed to be in the Royal Rumble tonight as a surprise entrant - well, as much as the sites can confirm - and it should be entertaining.

Darn. I was hoping Mysterio would take off the skull mask cover thing and it'd be the triumphant return of la Parka.

 

Apparently they have a class on how to catch yourself after going over the top rope at wrestling school. All three guys have pulled that move so far.

 

Great group of potential main-eventers in there in the first four: Mysterio, Morrison, Carlito and MVP.

Crowd is loving this match.

 

I'm impressed they got HHH, Kozlov (who eliminated Khali, MVP and Carlito) and Orton among the top eight.

 

Won't happen, but how cool would it be if Mysterio and Morrison both hang in there until the last couple of guys?

Some big-time names coming out pretty early here. Aren't the top 10 or 15 usually mid-carders, for the most part?

 

Typically, yes. But there's nothing wrong with this, because obviously they're adding people here to work certain angles (Orton/Jericho, Orton/DiBiase, Knox/Mysterio, HHH/Kozlov).

I'm a big fan of the younger guys lasting, and seeing JTG and Morrison in a while here now too is nice. Too bad MVP couldn't last a bit longer.
