I've got to imagine that Orton vs. Dibiase is going to be featured at SS and that takes Randy out of the title picture. Based on the Raw v. SD match, I'd say you can expect to see a DX vs. Jerishow title match, so that takes HHH, HBK and Jericho/Show out of the title picture.

Who can really feud with Cena at this point? Masters? Swagger? MVP? Kofi? Those are really the only four I see and each of the four would be a big of a leap. The only logical one of those four would be Swagger but I don't know if he's ready for a main-event role yet.

On the Smackdown side, obviously they're building up a Rey vs. Batista feud. Because of that, I can't imagine anyone but Punk feuding with Taker right now. Maybe they go to a Survivor Series four on four match to transition things to the end of the year but I've got to believe it'll be Punk vs. Taker again.

Who else is there, really? Maybe you could give Morrison a run but he's already got a title. Maybe you could give Kane a run but the brother vs. brother thing has been done to death in the past already. So, who else is there? No one wants to see Taker battle McIntyre, Ziggler or that Estrada dude. No one would buy into a Taker vs. R-Truth/Matt Hardy angle. I think Punk vs. Taker is the only logical feud there.

Maybe the WWE will actually take my advice and go with a Kofi Kingston vs. Cena match, face vs. face, for the PPV. Or maybe they'll go old school and have Cena and Taker each lead a Survivor Series team at the PPV. You could the GMs pick each team, and Cena's team would be faces - Cena, Kofi, Evan Bourne and MVP. Smackdown would be a mix, maybe Taker, Morrison, Punk and Ziggler / Estrada. At some point, you have Punk get Taker DQed, followed by Taker "removing" Punk from the match, setting up their program for the next PPV. At that point, maybe Morrison is the only guy left, and he fights valiantly against the remaining members before getting pinned by Cena eventually. They shake hands at the end, everyone is happy, the end.

Vince recently said in an interview that they were going to start mentioning Benoit again. He basically said that it wasn't right to just pretend he never existed. They'll start showing some of his matches again onf WWE 24/7, but they won't go out of their way to glorify him.

And I, for one would have liked to have seen DiBiase try to take on Orton for the title. I guess they're saving that for down the road.

I can't see them using Cena against Swagger, Masters or Kofi at Survivor Series. Swagger hasn't even been U.S. champ, so I see him going after that belt first. Same with Masters. Kofi's a face, so it would be hard to build heat for a showdown. Of course, I couldn't see them ending Orton-Cena at Bragging Rights.

I could see two guys against Cena: The Miz, who had a feud with Cena already, holds the U.S. title and has been tag champ and is coming off a big win over John Morrison, or MVP, who has been a face but could turn heel very easily, very quickly, though it would throw a wrench in his tag team with Mark Henry. The Miz would have to drop the U.S. title, which would tarnish his image a little, but they could probably work in a screwjob finish, giving the belt to Swagger and do Swagger-Kofi at SS for the U.S. title. Better would be to let him keep the title and point out that back in the day, the U.S. champ was considered the No. 1 contender for the world title.

And I can't see them going old school SS because they just did a similar match at Bragging Rights, which while not exactly the same since it wasn't elimination-style, basically stole any thunder from a big Survivor Series showdown.

I bet they do a triple threat of some kind at Survivor Series to set up a couple of longer-term feuds that they can build to the Rumble. What I'd love to see is a series of qualifying matches to get into a triple threat or fourway with Cena, all of the matches being triple threats themselves. Throw Orton and DiBiase in one against Evan Bourne or someone similar who is good but you know won't be in the title match. Orton hits an RKO on the third guy, and as he goes for the pin, DiBiase grabs him, hits Dream Street and steals the win. Legacy breaks up, or at least DiBiase leaves, and at Survivor Series, DiBiase is on the verge of winning when Orton and Rhodes cost him the title, letting Cena get the win. Then you get Orton-DiBiase for the December PPV, and a follow-up match at the Rumble. Maybe you even do DiBiase-Rhodes in December, with the stipulation that if DiBiase wins, he gets Orton. It'd be a great storyline, with Orton saying he won't face DiBiase, won't give him the satisfaction of getting his career elevated by being in the same ring again with someone of Orton's stature, but then Orton's forced to agree that if DiBiase can beat Rhodes in December, Orton will have to give DiBiase a match. Heck, make it even better by adding a third person to the Rhodes-DiBiase match if Legacy brings in someone to replace Ted. Have someone end up helping DiBiase get a win to set up a tag feud with the new Legacy and get Orton-DiBiase at the Rumble.

You don't get DiBiase-Orton at Survivor Series, but you get a nice, slow build for the next big PPV and you can set up two or three other good feuds in the process.

This. Do we trust VKM to have a slow build, though?

    Kofi Johnson?

These NASCAR guys are off to a rough start. They're not very good on the mic.

It's like Busch is trying to be a heel, but he's speaking so fast, his words have little impact. And Logano had that deer in the headlights look for the first segment.

And Buffalo? Wouldn't it make more sense to trot out the guest host thing in the South during the 36 hours that passes for NASCAR offseason?

They were promoting the Smackdown vs. Raw cars for the Nationwide race in a couple weeks.
And let's hope Kofi Johnson gets a big push. Maybe, just maybe, he can maun event Summerfest next year.

I heard Jeff Harvey will be back in time for Summerfest.

The crowd is numb to the debut of this Seamus guy. Jamie Noble deserves better.
