I agree, I wouldn't mind if he won the triple threat, setting up a short program with Cena and an eventual HHH heel turn and title program. I think the injuries are the chief reason why he only has four title reigns. Even the past couple years, he's had to work a reduced schedule and take frequent time off because his knees are so shot, so it would be hard to book him for an extended championship run. Taker looks really, really rough around the ring now, as an example.

Also, I was surprised to learn Sheamus is 31. It's like the second coming of Batista in that regard. He'll be gone in about six years, should he last.

I saw something the other day that said HBK doesn't plan on hanging it up any time soon, so a final run isn't in the works for now if that's true. Still, it would be nice to see them put the belt on him, but I really would like to see him holding the strap in his last match. If he isn't retiring, I don't want to see another HHH-HBK feud right now since it's been done a few times and he seems like the logical last feud for Michaels. Don't waste the feud now when you may be doing it in a year. I'd rather see another Orton-HBK, or better yet, put the strap on HBK, do Cena-HHH as a side match at the December PPV (have something happen in the SS triple threat to set it up), then do HBK against Kingston, Miz, Swagger, MVP or DiBiase. Then you can do Cena or HHH vs. Michaels at the Royal Rumble.

More likely, though, Cena keeps the belt but there's a wedge driven between HHH and Michaels. The two face off at the December PPV (maybe a ladder match since the PPV looks like it may have a TLC theme). The winner gets Cena at the Rumble. Give HBK the strap there, let John Morrison win the Rumble and face HBK, the guy everyone compares him to, at Mania.

Of course, none of this will probably happen.

I liked Raw too, except for the NASCAR guys. Like I said, I'm waiting for one of the hosts to be a kick-ass heel and Kyle Busch sure as hell wasn't.

I marked out during the main event when Bourne hit the shooting star on Big Show. A huge spot for a young guy. And Santino's punching act with the hand was pretty funny, too.

I'm looking forward to the Kofi/Orton feud. This is what the WWE needs. I'm thinking next week or two, we'll see Legacy in a six-man against Kofi/MVP/Henry.

I would have liked for HBK to be the top contender. He helped carry Cena to some terrific matches. They could explain it by having HBK tell HHH that he really didn't want to come back this time, but that HHH talked him into it at the restaurant, so he might as well try for the belt.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who enjoyed Bourne's SSP on Show. That spot was freaking awesome. Don't think I've ever seen Bourne get that high before.

I wouldn't hold out hope for a Shawn Michaels title run. The belt's been his for the taking at several points over the last few years, but he doesn't want it. In his current role, he gets plenty of high profile matches and a reduced workload. No way he's giving that up at this point.

  7. Surprised no one on here has mentioned Hogan signing with TNA. That should be interesting.

Ugh...he's done. And this is coming from someone who marked the fuck out when he came back in '02. His mobility is shot, and TNA will be wasting its time if it puts Hogan high in the card, which will be required.

But if this is an out-of-the-ring thing, then great move! :D

Judging by the quotes in the story, it sounds as though Hogan will have an in-ring role.

    That is an epic failure.

  12. Ric Flair might be on the way to TNA as well.
