Bischoff and Russo side-by-side with Dixie Carter and now Hogan just smells of disaster. And now they're thinking of adding Flair? This could be hilarious.

    Predicting a future TNWCW PPV:

World title: Hulk Hogan vs. Kevin Nash, bullrope match
X Division title: Brutus Beefcake vs. Scott Steiner
Tag team titles: Nasty Boys vs. Beer Money
For the presidency of TNA: Ric Flair vs. Eric Bischoff vs. Mick Foley vs. Vince Russo vs. Dixie Carter
TNA Global title: Lex Luger vs. DDP (vacant after Eric Young is fired)
    David Flair vs. Jimmy Hart
    Zeus vs. Earl Hebner
Dark matches: Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe, A.J. Styles vs. Desmond Wolfe, Daniels vs. Amazing Red

Damn solid...especially the dark matches. Though IIRC, Luger's body is in terrible shape...not really a matter of if he'll go, but when.

And anyone else absolutely *love* watching Amazing Red wrestle?

Dear God, TNA gets on the right track and now they sign Hogan. Please don't let him screw things up.

You hope that Hogan's learned his lesson, and tries to keep a low, at least for him, profile.

He recently claimed that he was supposedly about to commit suicide, but he received a phone call out of the blue from Laila Ali, and that stopped him. If true, hopefully Hogan will be somewhat humble.

Still, who the heck can Hogan work with?

Sting. Angle. Nash. Steiner. Not that any of them would be good matches, necessarily, but they've worked with him before.

I'm no Hogan fan, but TNA needs the pub they're getting from this. They've been stuck in the low 1's forever in TV ratings, and while they do well in the guy demo, they're not growing, either. Angle, Booker T, Christian, Foley and Bobby Lashley have come in with the intent of spiking ratings, but it never works. Hogan, if nothing else, can do that. Flair to a lesser degree, as well.

Dave Meltzer says more signings are to come. I'm guessing some of the names from his upcoming Australia tour (the former Umaga, the former Mr. Kennedy, among others) will be on their way.

Well, now we know another reason why Hogan's in TNA. He has a book coming out about his life outside the ring.

Hogan was on Larry King tonight. He basically said that his book rips on Linda. He also told about his alleged suicide attempt and how today he feels so 'positive' about life.

  10. I know a lot of people shit on Hogan, and rightfully so. But, and I've said this before, there is still the kid inside of me who loves seeing Hogan in the ring. Of course he's not the same as he was in his prime, but he's a big part of my childhood memories.

So I hope things turn out well for him in the situation, but it sounds like it's going to be a clusterfuck.

Hogan in TNA could be good, as long as he is used very, very sparingly. Hogan in WCW was a problem because outside of his boring 20-minute matches, he would also be in a couple skits and beatdowns on the younger talent throughout the show. Hogan in a reduced role with some cheesy 10-minute matches could be good though: Have Styles go clean over him, maybe a couple of the other guys, and only have him win in some of the more "classic" matches, like vs. Sting, Nash, etc.

I'm guessing that Bischoff might take over the on-camera role that Jim Cornette used to have, as a sort of management hand that the crowd recognizes as an authority. Flair in TNA would be weird. He went out about as perfectly as you can in the WWE, but like Terry Funk, I don't think he'll ever stop wrestling.

I'm more worried about all of these WWE imports crowding the Knockouts or homegrown TNA stars off cards, though. Kennedy is great on the mic, but he gets hurt every couple of weeks, whereas Umaga is the opposite - Can't do much on the mic, but he works great in the ring for a bigger guy.

I'd be oddly intrigued by an Umanga/Joe match...
