Isn't Kane from hell, like the Undertaker is from Death Valley, but they never say, Death Valley, California. Hell and Death Valley may be a foreign area, like Parts Unknown.

And just reading from the reviews, I really wish the WWE would get away from a few PG-13 aspects and stop trying to re-live the 80s. While I don't want the whole focus on sex, like they did for a few years, can they at least allow blood again and not come up with dumb finishes like ballshots being illegal in a match in which chairs are allowed.

Unless Cena gets his rematch on Sheamus at the end of the show? That would eat into some time.

Smart (dumb?) move here by the WWE letting HBK have the spot wth Jericho, and putting Big Slow and HHH "fighting" backstage for a while. Probably keeps that lug and slug fresh for later in the 30 minute match.

Never seen that spot before, the ladder being suplexed onto someone. Pretty cool.

They wanted to make the point that a chairs match wasn't the same as a no-DQ match. I have no problem with them making that distinction.

Way to sell there, HHH. Fucker gets punched in the face with a chair and gets up 2 seconds later.

Could have done without DX winning, but that was an interesting ending with all the busted ladders.
Also an ugly spot Jericho took. He hit the edge of the table and it did not break one bit.

I have a feeling Y2J was supposed to go through that table but it was placed too far from the ring.

My guess too. I hope he was able to protect himself. Could have easily broken his jaw or worse hitting the way he did.

Wow. What a great, great PPV.

First, Shelton-Christian stole the show. No way those two should be relegated to the roles they currently have. both need real pushes.

Second, kudos to the WWE for giving BOTH Mcintyre and Sheamus titles. Sure, the Sheamus win was a bit of a copout with the finish but, hey, it takes some balls to give him the belt, especially with the heat Sheamus currently has.

Loved the DX-Jerishow match, nice spots, clean finish. I hope this isn't the end of Jerishow, but methinks it is.

What are the odds of Sheamus getting a match at Mania at this point? To me, Mania matches only go to established vets (at least in recent years). I think that'll be the real test about how much Vince thinks of him.

I think Sheamus has a lot to do and a lot to prove over the next six weeks or so. If he keeps his heat as champion and gets better on the mic (he's still a bit rough), I think he's got a shot. Especially since they've fallen into the pattern of having one championship match as a regular match and the other as a triple threat.
If Taker vs. whoever is the main event, I could see Sheamus and some combination of Orton, Cena and Kofi as the triple threat. Keeps those marketable big names in there, takes some pressure off the younger guys, and if necessary lets Sheamus or Kofi lose without totally destroying their heat.

In theory, it has to be, because Jericho is a Smackdown wrestler and Big Show is on Raw, so now they have no method of teaming up, unless one magically gets traded to the other show (or they just forget about it and have them on both shows, which is the more likely solution).

Wait. Orton's ban on title shots only applies to matches with Cena as champ, right? Orton gets a match against Sheamus, wins it, then we have yet more Orton-Cena for the Rumble? Or does Cena beat Sheamus at Rumble, then Orton wins the Rumble and that's your WM match?

Problem them have with Sheamus (well, one of them) is they don't have an obvious program for him, other than Cena rematches.

And it sounds like they've managed to fuck up Orton-Kingston about as badly as they did Orton-DiBiase.
