Wrestlecrap has plenty of new material for another book!

I read one of their books and wasn't really impressed, except for the part where they bought the Katie Vick cheerleading outfit. That was good times.

I was talking about Monday's Raw to a co-worker yesterday. He said he hadn't watched wrestling in years, but caught the last segment and couldn't stop laughing.
I then tried explaining the DX-Hornswoggle angle to him. You think it's absurd watching it, try explaining it to someone who doesn't know what's going on or who any of the people involved are. By the time you get to the phrase "...and that's when the swarm of midgets came out," you can't help but feel silly.

I thought I'd share this with you all. After Christmas, I had to drive back up to my house to work for the weekend. Stumbled upon that and generally watch a lot at night when I'm wide awake.

WCW back in it's glory days when the NWO first began; Hall, Nash, Hogan and the swarm of random WWF retirees beating the piss out of random WCW stars because "they could." Can't beat the NWO "paid" commercials, either.

    Those spots were awesome.

I remember being 12 or 13 when the NWO first started. I remember when The Outsiders attacked Arn, Rey and a few outside in the parking lot area which officially began the "war" between WCW and the NWO. I remember later on that Nitro, the NWO had a promo, that I cannot find on YouTube for the life of me, which saw the NWO bragging on their attack when they took batting practice on "WCW's finest." Eric Bischoff demanded the tape be stopped, and then Nitro just stopped. The crowd was silented. Bischoff, Tony Shovanie and Bobby Hennan were in a state of shock.

Great, great television. Fucking PG WWE...

One of my fave NWO commercials was a random one for T-shirts that I really wasn't paying attention to. But at the end, Nash throws in "Proceeds will go to the Ric Flair retirement fund" and I cracked up.

No Raw talk yet? I didn't start watching until 10 p.m., but when I did, I was very impressed with what I saw. This may be the start of some good television if TNA can really put their show over well on January 4th.

Didn't see all of it, but I am enthused about the Hitman returning to Raw next week.
You just know there's going to be some emphasis or reenactment of the screwjob. So maybe, as a nod to WCW, they can hire Michael Buffer as a co-guest host and have him reenact his Bret Clark ring intro.

So you spend all that time building up Seamus's winning streak, then throw it away on a DQ. Seems a bit pointless.

But he keeps the title, and Cena doesn't get pinned.
