Shane's joining Legacy. I think in a couple weeks you will find out that the ending was a work between the four of them ... as if everything isn't a work.

Harley, I didn't think they were after last week.

This week is a different story, obviously.

It helps to be a pessimist. ::)

Can't wait for Charlie Haas to have a McMahon imitation only to have Orton, Rhodes and DiBiase beat the crap out him. Or will we? Can't make the McMahons look bad -- only everyone else in the company! ::)

Just the awkwardness of that ending... Shane has to be in on Legacy. I mean Orton oversold some hits and undersold others. And there weren't really a lot of punches, just a bunch of rolling around. As dailygrind said, it just seemed like a work. There's no way the WWE thinks it's fans are THAT dumb (insert: "yes it does" or "see:" jokes here).

I still think they were trying to imply that the punches Shane was throwing were legit, in the way that they wanted people to think that Orton's punt of Vince was not 100 percent according to script. Last night wasn't meant to be a shoot so much as a stiff work between people who aren't really on the same page.

If that's what they were going for, it fell woefully short. But it's hard to know exactly what they wanted with such poor execution.

Orton's going to have to punt Stephanie's kids to make this right again. At least.

I was actually thinking Orton was going to punt Shane when he was on top of whaling on Dibiase Jr. or Rhodes. That would've been freakin' awesome.

Seconded...I thought for sure that's what was going to happen. I'm not sure if a crazy Shane is gonna work...he even threw shots at Kofi IIRC. The question now is what will be 'worse than getting fired' for Orton/Legacy? The McMahons can't really stack the odds against them too much or else your top heel group runs the risk of turning face.

Can't wait for HHH to show up and defend the McMahon name against the Legacy (he did eliminate Rhodes and DiBiase in the Royal Rumble and was eliminated by Orton so it's at least a possibility.) ::)

I just have a strange feeling that this "worse than getting fired" means that Shane O'Mac is going to fight Randy Orton in a no-DQ street fight at Mania. I know it's not a title fight, but they can sell it as a "main event."

I don't know why, but I just have that feeling. Shane and Vince love being a part of Mania. But like Petrie said, one wrong move in this feud and WWE could risk having Legacy make a face turn.

I've heard the Triple H rumors as well, but I think they would have played that up more at Rumble. I don't think Triple H will get involved.

OK, how about this theory. Shane and Orton tangle in a street fight at No Way Out. Shane then joins Legacy there, doing something that screws Stephanie (maybe the way it works is if Shane loses, she loses control of Raw). Triple H then wins the Smackdown Elimination Chamber to get the WWE title. Then Shane and Orton say they're going to ruin Stephanie, and the next step will be with Orton taking on Triple H at Wrestlemania to take the title from her hubby. I'm sure for some reason we're going to see Orton-Trips at Wrestlemania. I just expect them to try to swerve us with who Orton picks to face at 'Mania, and while taking on Edge doesn't make sense, taking on Triple H does.

  12. If anyone turns, it'll be Steph.
