I think it'd be Shane, though. Remember when Steph and Shane were having their feud as to who was going to run Raw. Stephanie then told Shane, "I'll run the show, you run the business." And Shane left. Now he's magically back.

If you can call it a turn, since she was all heel not a few weeks ago. She hadn't really done anything face-like until she booted Jericho. And even when Jericho told her Vince was coming back three weeks ago, she had the look that heels about to get their comeuppance get.

Reworking last week: Have Steph and Orton squaring off forehead-to-forehead, snarling and sneering and, of course, kissing1, revealing that it was all a work and she used him to take out Vince so she could have the show to herself again. Later, Shane comes back and pulls some strings to get HHH moved to Raw so he can defend his woman's honor (or he can just show up, it's not like anyone cares about brand integrity anymore).

But the bigger problem is that either McMahon in The Legacy will usurp Orton, cooling off the best heel in WWE (even better than Edge). And they had done a fine job in the last two weeks building him up to be a special character, too.

1 -- Though Orton might prefer Shane in that spot.

    Was watching TNA tonight.

Main Event Mafia was running the show, complete with Nash and Booker doing commentary, Steiner being the ring announcer and Angle -- I guess -- trying to be the GM.

Booker was awful in the booth, Angle is an idiot and Steiner needs to stick to popping pills.

What little of the show I saw sucked.

It sounded like Booker was trying to imitate Don West or something like that. I turned it off after a while. It just got annoying.

Whatever it was, he wasn't doing a very good job of it.

And is it just me or does the TNA crowd really suck?

It doesn't help that TNA Impact is taped in the same location week after week unlike what WWE does with Raw and Smackdown.

And Orlando is not exactly a wrestling hotbed.

Good chunk of fans are tourists with no clue what's going on.

Not that the storylines make a lick of sense anyway. But still.

It's sad TNA is so bad, too, because they have some good talent in guys like Styles, Samoa Joe and the Motor City Machine Guns, but they let it all get squashed so they can feed the egos of guys like Angle. I thought at one point this promotion had promise. Now I wish it would fold so some of the good talent would have a chance to move on.

It won't need to fold to move on because some of the younger guys (i.e. CM Punk, R-Truth, Christian Cage) have left or will be leaving because they have all learned that they aren't going to succeed to anything in that company. Vince Russo = career killer.

Heck, when WCW taped their shows there (I still shudder at the thought), they actually had signs to tell fans when to cheer and boo.

AHEM! I'll have you know that when ECW came to the Orlando area those fans in attendance, including yours truly, were some of the loudest house show fans I've ever heard. :D
