Was Adamle's quitting on Raw a work or was that legit? The announcers seem totally shocked as did Stephanie. It seems as thought Adamle is, of coure, gone, but I'm curious if he quit right there in the ring.

He was, apparently, under contract until this month.

I had no idea ECW even ventured that far south.

Neither did I. I thought ECW was generally a based in the northern states, and, more specifically, the Northeast.

Did you not read the several Bubba Ray Dudley incident stories I posted on the old thread? :D

I did, but must have missed the Orlando part. Thought it was Philly or New Jersey or something.

No, I wasn't that lucky, if I was I would've been on several episodes when it used to air on Sunshine Network here in Florida :D

I could've swore I said where these house shows were at. Oh well, no biggie. ECW got down here a lot. They had several shows in Tampa and Orlando, actually Kissimmee and in an Agricultural Center (aka barn!). I was second row at Guilty As Charged in Orlando, one of my signs is prominent when Shane Douglas got choked out by Taz to drop the title.

Quick story about the Kissimmee Ag Center: My first ever ECW show was at that venue. We had major trouble finding it and we finally did about 5 minutes before showtime. We get out and there's a huge ass line going around the building. We thought they were running behind and were just queing up ticket holders to get in. That wasn't the case.

We asked the guy in front of us and they said they were trying to get in and had no tickets. We did and we quickly went to the front of the line. Security guard looks at us meanly and says back of the line unless you have tickets. We flashed our tix, he tore the end off and in we went to the smelliest, sweatiest, most crowded fun night in my life, to that point.

Now that is a way to regain top heel/bad ass status.

They definitely saved Orton's cred with this RAW after last week's embarassment...he went to kick Steph in the head and Shane jumped in front of her and took the blow. Priceless jumped Shane/Steph in the locker room and earlier made Shane vs. Orton (No Holds Barred) at No Way Out. Orton also explained that last week he let Shane beat the trio up to set up the PPV match.

Also, Steph made a deal with Kane. He made a call to The Undertaker to set up 'Taker vs. Orton next week. In exchange, he's in the final spot of RAW's Elimination Chamber title match.

Ric Flair will be on RAW next week to confront Jericho about the recent comments. Hmmm.

What happened between JBL and Michaels? I fell asleep about 2/3 way through and woke up as Steph was announcing the Undertaker/Orton match. Neither Lawler or Cole mentioned it at all while they were running down the main headlines of the show before the Jericho/Cena match finished.

Overall, it was an okay Raw. I liked how they continued the feud between Orton and the McMahons. The rest of the show for me was pretty weak. That Raw Elimination Chamber is looking awful, too.
