Ha, really? That's rather odd WWE would do that. I mean if it was a title match, then sure.

Sometimes the WWE does that for the most ridiculous reasons. They do it as a way for the wrestler to pay his dues, so to speak, or because someone in the office just wants to see them do a job to gauge their attitude. I think Brock Lesnar lost to someone ridiculous (Hardcore Holly, maybe, someone refresh my memory please).

If you watch when top stars frequently would join or rejoin the company, they would lose pretty quick.

I don't know if Lesnar ever lost to Holly, but I do remember that Holly did challange Lesnar for the WWE Title. What an awful storyline.

And Lesnar broke Holly's neck in 2002 after a botched powerbomb.

He came back after 13 months and challenged Lesnar for the WWE championship at the 2004 Royal Rumble. It was pretty much a squash for Lesnar. Don't remember Holly getting a victory over him ever.

Yeah, I remember that. I think they just did that minifeud to take up some time at the Rumble after the broken neck.

I didn't think Lesnar had lost to Holly at some point. I do think he lost to someone ridiculous early in his career.

I'm not sure if it was his first loss, but Lesnar lost to Matt Hardy on Raw in 2002 after beating Jeff at Backlash the night before.

The loss to Matt was only his second official match, too.

That might have been it. I couldn't remember. At that time, the Hardyz were more known for their tag team, so a singles loss to one of them was usually an upset.

I saw this Hardy to Lesner chair shot on YouTube. Enjoy. It's a freakin' bomb.

Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy in a ladder match for the WWE Championship. I was in attendance for this show and this still is, by far, one of the stiffest chair shots I've ever seen. You'll have to fast forward to 4:40.

Oh hell yeah. Great shot. I could scour YouTube all day for the best chair shots and hardcore moments in wrestling. The only problem I have with that video is just as Hardy drills 'Taker, a camera flash goes off and it sort of distorts the full view of it. Still a stiff blast (that's what she said).

In the Hardys' book, they said they enjoyed giving Brock the chairshots because they knew they were going to get squashed the rest of the time, so they wanted to get in at least one stiff shot.

You don't see those type of chairshots anymore in WWE. They've restricted them.
