Why don't we see those chair shots anymore? Too violent? Did it actually scramble some brains that bad?

And Rumpleforeskin (great name by the way), I remember watching that chair shot live. Good lord.

My God, I'm surprised Shamrock's head didn't end up in the rough.

He really teed off on that one.

Matt Hardy's chair shot to Jeff was pretty stiff.

Agreed. But it was a PPV, the Rumble no less. I want to see this stuff on RAW. But I'm not sure if we'll ever get that anymore....

That or when Triple H was a heel and he'd just destroy people with the sledgehammer.

How about when the Rock handcuffed Foley and whacked him in the head and face about 15 times at the Royal Rumble in '99?

Go to about the 8 minute mark of that clip and prepare to have your stomach turn.

That was one of the matches shown on that wrestling documentary a few years ago.

Mick's wife and kids were sitting in the front row.

I remember seeing in Beyond the Mat, Foley's wife kept screaming everytime he got hit. Foley said it was one of his biggest regrets.

Then afterwards, Foley got pissed off that the Rock didn't check on him. Rock claimed he did. But it took months for them to talk it over, and Rock apologized.

WWE has cut out the chairshots to the head, mostly, because too many guys were getting hurt. A few years ago, they actually had to cancel some house shows because their entire roster was hurt/sick.

I didn't know they were that brutal. You figure they'd have them every now and then, though. They are way to far and few between.

The Foley v. Rock 'I Quit' match was stomach-turning. Foley probably lost an IQ point with every chair shot in that battle.

Ndub, it's steel vs. skull. I think you know which item wins out.
