More urgently, I want to know why Bubba Ray, D-Von, Sting and Kurt Angle are in a fatal four-way match tonight at the TNA pay-per-view.

Because Vince Russo still thinks it's 1999?

Well, yeah, that's probably a good reason.

Worked on my taxes tonight and tried to catch a feed around 10:30. Did so, and saw the match. Not that there was a lot of action, but the thing just ended abruptly - just as bodies started getting thrown around the ring.

    Another blown opportunity.

Anything exciting go down at that TNA PPV, or did Sting retain his title like usual?

    That's exactly it.

And some stiff-ass Brit debuted with a gladiator gimmick and the name Brutus Magnus.

They were promoting him hard on Impact over the past several weeks. What feud or wrestler is he getting involved with?

If TNA is still in biz this time next year, I'm going to be shocked.

They probably will still be in business, but I don't see them lasting more than another two or three years. This is the same group of people who burned WCW to the ground and staged a bogus Kevin Nash funeral the day AFTER Dale Earnhardt died. Oh yeah, they'll go down soon enough. Maybe then Russo will crawl into a hole and never come out.

This Jericho thing seems to be picking up some steam...

From the initial article, it sounded like one of those weird things that happens from time to time. Given Jericho's in-ring persona right now, though, I'm betting he could turn this into mega-heel gold if they let him run with it.

No doubt about that. But what are the odds they let him run with it?
