And before that, the guy spent time in an insane asylum. He's obviously not stable enough to serve in that capacity.

Continuity has little to no place in wrestling, my friend.

Still don't know if I'm buying the Shane McMahon as a maniac-tearing-shit-up-in-the-ring bit. The fact that he can somehow compete with the WWEs best is ridiculous.

I think we'd all be better off if instead of Shane, Tripps came to Steph's aid. At least we'd have some witty banter and good wrestling.

Oh, and I love The Nature Boy, but I remembered why I don't miss him. His mic skills have deteriorated. Was it just me or did it seem like Jericho was having to feed him lines? (the one that comes to mind was the 'I guess you're going to tell me you respect the fans too much to come back' and then Flair launches into that spiel).

I still think Shane's a stepping stone to Triple H's jump to Raw so the latter can defend the family's "honor." Gag.

When Stephanie was talking on the phone to someone, did anyone else assume it was Triple H? They never said who it was, but that seemed like a natural.
Also, in WWE storylines, have they ever explicitly stated that Stephanie and Triple H are a real-life item? I know there was that whole thing with Test and the wedding god knows how long ago, but it seemed like something they dropped.
I always liked Triple H's tongue in cheek, schoolboy crush-toned, "Hiiiii Steph" whenever they'd have them in spots together.

Don't think they've ever said on TV that they're really married. Only mention I've heard is Trips (or some other wrestler) talking about Vince's grandkids.

And Trips never wears a ring and doesn't have a tattoo like some guys do.

Which is interesting because during the McMahon-Helmsley regime in the early '00s, when he was married to Steph in the storyline, he DID wear a wedding band, even during matches. I always thought that was a nice little detail.

And while they've never outright acknowledged the real-life Trips-Steph marriage, it's definitely one of those wink-wink things now. Stephanie had their first child a few years ago, and Trips had to ditch Raw at the last minute to be there. They covered it up by having Shawn Michaels come out to say that yes, Stephanie was in labor, and Triple H just couldn't resist going to the hospital to give the McMahons a hard time.

With the internet being more accessible, I'm sure most fans are aware from having read it online.

    Hahahahahaha.

They brought Christian back on ECW.

    Hahahahahaha.

Swing ... and a miss. And apparently he's wrestling Swagger tonight.

    Un-fucking-believable.

    What.

    The.

    Fuck?

Christian left TNA because he was being underutilized. Thanks, WWE. Now WWE is giving him a similar to lesser role with them.

Hornswoggle was running circles around him and then Finlay confronted Christian, something to do with the ECW championship, couldn't hear well.
