I think it's quite apparent Christian will be in the ECW title match against Swagger at WM.

It is. But it'd also be cool to see him win MITB and cash it in against Edge a few months later.

That's what I was figuring. A Edge/Christian feud would be amazing.

I'm sure they'll go that route in the next 6 months or so. Incorprating The Hardyz into it, since one is heel and one is face now, would be fascinating and could make for some fantastic matches.

After being labeled the "B-show" for basically its entire existence, it's nice to see Smackdown is starting to become a lot more respectable as a brand. While Christian is on ECW, it's almost guaranteed that he'll come to Smackdown eventually which is a huge move for them.

This is obviously just an opinion of mine, but I remember when Smackdown just struggled to really have any big names on the show and failed to bring in any decent ratings. I still think Smackdown should be live, though. I know discussions of doing that were brought up at some point, but those have mostly died out.

WWE overthinks things too much. They apparently bench Christian as the assailant in favor of Matt Hardy because too many people guessed Christian was the guy. Even though it sounds short-sighted to do that, there's a pretty obvious fix: have Christian come to the ring during some sort of Edge-Matt-Jeff drama, tease like he's helping his old friend, then waffle him with a chair a la Matt to Jeff. Then you have a pretty strong feud that can work in singles or tag teams. Maybe they don't want to have the WWE champ in a tag match at WM, but I think we'd all be down with Edge/Matt vs. Jeff/Christian.

Instead, we get Christian as an ECW face which is OK, I guess, but generally the ECW ranks are filled with young guys and veterans whose job it is to make the young guys look good. Christian isn't really either, and it'd be a shame to have him come in to put Jack Swagger over -- no matter how big-time he'll probably be soon -- because there's more value to him than that.

I like your storyline ideas, but I don't think WWE so much overthinks their plans, but has to tinker simply because of the internet and keep people off guard. I'd say it's safe to say a lot of fans were anticipating the return of Christian as the person behind all of the Jeff Hardy attacks, but instead of WWE going with the already spoiled plan, they mix it up so that fans are kept on the edge.

    Just a thought...

This is probably the second or third instance I can think of where WWE threw us a swerve in a storyline. Vince needs to quit reading the dirtsheets, dammit.

I'm really hoping he's not merely another obstacle for Swagger, who is an amazing young talent but Christian is a legitimate upper-tier wrestler. I wouldn't mind seeing him and Swagger in a prolonged feud, trading the ECW Title a few times. That championship could sure use a hot feud...in fact, the show's best feud since returning a couple of years ago has been...uh...CM Punk vs. Chavo Guerrero. Not exactly high standards.

ECW would be a lot more respectable if they had more wrestlers and more championships, too. I remember reading a year or so ago that the WWE had some ECW Tag Titles made and ordered, and they'd be used on the show. I guess that idea was nixed.

Uh, no. ECW should only have the one title. There's already a slim roster there. I'd say, too, that there should only be one tag team title, available to be defended on all three shows and the same should go for the IC title. I'd dump the U.S. title, too.

You know what I didn't understand...Television championships. Like WCW has the WCW Television Championship and so did NWA. WTF is the Television Championship? That belt was a failure.
